Benefits of Using Employee Education With development of information technology, employee education has been making many changes in the business fields. Employee education means that when companies hire employees, companies will provide employees with specific training and development education. This education is designed for employees, and helps employees increase their productivity and efficiency. This will also help employees understand what real business is. I have experience by gaining benefit from employee education in order to help me deal with my jobs in international business. My previous job was a business administer in a manufacturing company for dealing with every tasks, such as shipment, quotation, and communication with American and European companies. I take advantage of using my company’s employee education to run my jobs much well-organized and smoothly. Therefore, in my point of view, using employee education can improve the efficiency of business by fully understanding complex work, by revising previous business knowledge to match current job, and by keeping up with current trend and saving amount of time. By using employee education in international business, it can help me to have fully understanding of my job. Most international businesses are not only selling products to other countries but also providing good service to them. When I was a business administer, I have taken a great advantage of using my company’s employee education. This is because my previous company is making hardware, such as screw, bolt, and nut. There are many different sizes of this hardware. For example, screws have many different size, length, head, thread, and drive style. Each small part can be combined to many different screws. If I did not have employee education and training, I would not understand the duty of my job. I also will not response detail of product to my customers, such as material or purpose for use. Therefore, employee education is helping me have my jobs well-organized and provide good service to my customers. In addition, with the help of the employee education during my work, I can revise previous business knowledge from school to match current job. My previous business knowledge was from business courses in university; however, when I worked in an international business, I found out that many of international business knowledge were different between textbooks and real business world. For example, in school, my professors will teach us many useful payment methods such as letter of credit (L/C) or telex wire and others. However, in real business, numerous companies use telex to wire payment to their suppliers, because using telex will save many application fees and process fees. The most important is that supplier can receive payment in one or two days. Compared to telex, L/C will take much of time to process in order to receive payment. Therefore, employee education helps me and makes my life became easier. It also helps me to connect to real business world. It helps me not to be confined to only knowledge from textbooks. Finally, through taking advantage of the employee education, it helps me keep up with the current trend and amount of time will be saved. If companies can often provide employee education, their employee can have most recent business knowledge and keep up with the trend. This education is important to me, because if my customers ask me about current business market or our products, I can not response to them right away; I might lose their trust. After having employee education, I can update every current feature, such as products or other possible information. Therefore, this education reduces me amount of time and helps me provide good service to my customers instead of wasting my valuable time on searching for correct information. In conclusion, with the support of employee education, efficiency of business can be improved by fully understanding complex work, by revising previous business knowledge to match current job, and by keeping up with current trend and saving amount of time. Employee education brings me many benefits, such as saving much time when I am on work. I believe that education can help me revise and update the most recent information and knowledge. Therefore, without education, I may waste my time on dealing with unimportant tasks or working inefficiency.
