KABANATA I INTRODUKSYON

Ang pagpili ng kurso sa kolehiyo ay hindi parating madali para sa mga estudyanteng magtatapos pa lamang ng pag-aaral sa sekondarya. Maraming maaaring pagpilian at kadalasan ito ang nagiging sanhi ng kalituhan para sa mga mag-aaral na tatahak ng higit na mataas na antas ng karunungan. Dahil dito, nagkakaroon ng maraming kabiguan sa pag-aaral na dala rin marahil ng agarang pagdedesisyon sa isang bagay. Sa kabilang dako, ang pagpapatuloy ng kursong edukasyon ay makapagpapalago sa mga darating pang mga pag-aaral para sa propesyonal at personal na mga rason. Ang mga kadahilanan din ng isang tao ang makapagsasabi kung ipagpapatuloy niya pa ang kursong Edukasyon (www.christianet.com/education). Kung kaya ang pag-iisa ng mga interes at kagalingan ng bawat estudyante ay may malaking puwang sa pagpili ng kursong kukunin sa kolehiyo. Ang kursong edukasyon ay isa sa mga bihirang kunin ng mga magsisipagtapos na mag-aaral sa sekondarya. May kani-kanyang dahilan, pangunahing kaalaman, at pagproseso sa isipan ang bawat isa, sa katayuan bilang isang guro kung sila ay tatahak ng kursong ito. May mga positibo at negatibong pananaw ang bawat isa. Sa aklat ni Santrock (2005), kanya ritong inilahad na ang mga kabataan ay talagang nasa panahon ng paghanap ng kanilang tunay na sarili o pagkatao.

Hangarin ng pag-aaral na ito na masagot ang mga sumusunod na tiyak na katanungan: * Anu-ano ang mga pananaw ng mga mag-aaral sa kursong edukasyon? * Anu-ano ang mga salik na nakaaapekto sa pananaw ng mga mag-aaral sa kursong edukasyon? * Ilang porsyento ng mga mag-aaral ang nagbabalak kumuha ng kursong Edukasyon pagtungtong sa kolehiyo?

Kahalagahan ng Pag-aaral Ang pananaliksik na ito ay naglalayong makatulong sa mas malawak na pag-unawa sa kursong edukasyon ng mga sumusunod: Mga Mag-aaral sa hayskul. Karaniwang nagiging suliranin ng mga mag-aaral sa sekondarya ang pagpili ng kursong kanilang kukunin pagdating sa kolehiyo. Sa pag-aaral na ito maaaring magkaroon ng paunang kaalaman ang mga magsisipagtapos sa kung ano ang mga karaniwang paniniwala sa kursong edukasyon. Magiging malaking tulong din ang pag-aaral sa mga nagbabalak kumuha ng kursong ito. Mga magulang. Maaaring magkaroon ng katiyakan ang mga magulang na nagnanais pakuhanin ng kursong edukasyon ang kanilang mga anak. Ang IV-Ohms ang napili ng mga mananaliksik sa istatistikal na pamamaraan. May bilang na apatnapung mag-aaral (40) ang total na populasyon ng seksyong Ohms. Ginawa ang pananaliksik sa Naga City Science High School sa taong akademiko 2008 – 2009 kaya’t hindi na sakop ng pananaliksik ang pagbabago sa persepsyon ng mga mag-aaral patungkol sa kursong Edukasyon. Hindi rito tinatalakay ang mga karaniwang persepsyon ng mga guro at magulang. Ninanais lamang ng pag-aaral na ito na alamin ang mga pananaw ng mga ordinaryong mag-aaral na papasok sa kolehiyo kung saan ang mga nalikom na datos ay maaaring magbigay linaw o dagdag na kaalaman patungkol sa kanilang pananaw sa kursong edukasyon.

Katuturan ng mga Talakay Sa higit na ikauunawa sa paksang tinalakay ay binigyang kahulugan ang ilang mga terminolohiya ayon sa pagkakagamit nito sa naturang pag-aaral: 1. persepsyon - pag-unawa sa kursong edukasyon at kinasasakupan nito sa pamamagitan ng mga pandama o pag-iisip. 2. media – ito ay tumutukoy sa mga kagamitang panteknolohiya at mga produkto nito na nakapagbibigay impluwensiya sa persepsyon ng tao ukol sa kursong edukasyon. 3. positibong pananaw – ang pagkakaroon ng mabuting posisyon ng kaisipan ukol sa kursong edukasyon. 4. negatibong pananaw – ang pagkakaroon ng di-mabuting posisyon ng kaisipan ukol sa kursong edukasyon. 5. estratehiya – isang plano o pamamaraan para makamit ang isang partikular na adhikain o mithiin. 6. larang - ito ay gawain o interes na sakop ng isang particular na propesyon 7. pangkalahatang kaisipan – ito ay tumutukoy sa ideyang pangkabuuan ng mga tao o isang grupo ukol sa kursong edukasyon |

Teoryang Saligan ng Pag-aaral
FUNSIYONALISTA
Sa konseptong funsiyonalista na ipinaliwanag ni Wilson at Hayes (2000) , tinitingnan ang mga organisasyon ng mga kongkretong realidad na umiiral hiwalay sa personal o sosyal na pagkakabuo ng mga ito, ito ay ipinaaalm sa pamamagitan ng larang ng sosyolohiya na nagtitiyak ng stabilidad, sosyal na kaayusan, integrasyon at solidaridad. Ang konseptong funsiyonalista rin ay naglalayong makapagbigay ng rasyonal na mga pagpapaliwanag ng mga sosyal na gawain at may pag-aalala sa paghahatid ng mga praktikal na solusyon sa mga praktikal na problema. Sa pangkalahatan, ninanais nito na magkaroon ng isahang pananaw tungo sa kakayahan, pag-iirinagn at mga interes upang makaabot sa mataas na antas ng pagiging epektibo at produktibo na maaaring makamit ng isang indibidwal.
