The pattern that I have selected depicts an Imperial-Class Star Destroyer. I selected this ship because of its crucial role in the story. In the pattern, it is depicted in the void of space. Star Destroyers are a symbol of the Empire’s might, being ships larger than even cities. Their significance, however, are deeply rooted. In the beginning, Thane Kyrell is a mere child, yet he possesses a great deal of knowledge pertaining to ships. As he states, “Dalven doesn’t know every single ship like I do. He doesn’t study the manuals or practice with a glider.”(3). As you can tell, Kyrell, one of the two protagonists through which this story, has a deep connection with ships. But what of Ciena Ree?
