The Berlin Airlift was an Operation devised by the United States and Britain, in which both countries supplied West Berlin with the essentials for living via aircraft, a feat at the time that has never been accomplished to this magnitude. In my thesis for this research paper, I would like to expound on the fact that both the United Sates and the Soviet Union never considered an airlift as a viable or even possible solution to solving the issues the U.S faced in West Berlin.
