Eleni introduction… Say age etc.. then..
Eleni is one of my closest best friends and I have known her since year nine. One thing we have in common is that we were born in Greece. That must be one of the things that we mostly like about our friendship because it allows us to talk in Greek when in public avoiding anyone to understand our subject of conversation. I have recently asked her a few questions and found out more about her. Throughout this presentation I will use most of her sentences though edit a few words in order to combine the information given.
Three ways Eleni described year 12 is stressful, busy and exiting. She lives here in Australia with her mum, dad, her younger 12 year old sister and the best family member, her dog named Sandy. Both of her parents have full time jobs and her sister is busy with school and her hobby, bouldering (which is similar to rock climbing). Due to these busy weekly programs Eleni does not get much family time because she is also busy with her studies. The closest family member she has is her mom and Sandy, everyone’s favourite dog. The good part about her family is the respect they show each other, Eleni considers this as their family value.
Her hobbies involve exercise, going out with friends and watching her favourite series, “Pretty Little Liars”. Two of the bad/strange habits Eleni has is biting her nails when bored or stressed and to take ugly selfies on other people’s phones. One thing she cannot understand is a few things about boys, such as the way they think and how they react to situations in ways no one can understand. When I asked her “if you could change one thing about yourself what it would be?” She replied and said “I’d want to be braver to go for new opportunities that come my way”. Her weakness as a student is that she easily gets distracted. Along with improving her concentration she wishes to improve in her English grammar and vocabulary. Eleni has described herself with three good words. Loyal, proud and enthusiastic. Her future plans include moving to Greece with her family after school and in the future focusing on her studies with either phycology or international relations at the University of Thessaloniki in Greece. After she successfully completes her University course she would love to move to Spain for two years while working within the field she studied. Afterwards she would like to buy a house in either Corfu (her home town in Greece) or Adelaide possibly along with a beautiful family of her own. If she could visit one place on earth it would be Mexico. Mexico was introduced to her from a young age through a Mexican cartoon called “Speedy Gonzales”. As she grew up she would get even more motivated through her Spanish studies as she learnt more about the language and culture which also got her even more excited about visiting this Latin American country.
The aspects of her culture she is especially proud of is that Greeks make a living, no matter the difficulty. They always have fun and live their lives this shows how strong Greeks truly are. Moving on from Greece and going to Australia, Eleni loves the geographical differences such as the differences between the states in Australia, how in one state there is a dessert, in another high snowy mountains and another can be Tropical with lots of beautiful trees and fountains. One thing she cannot understand about Australia is the Australian families, how and why they are so afraid of the outside world and restrict their children from doing all sorts of activates such as playing at the nearest playground.
One of the more serious issues Eleni is concerned of if how everyone from every continent of the world is angry, unhappy and unsatisfied and express those feelings through violence. Two of the most valuable lessons she has learnt is to not take things too seriously because at the end of the day happiness is what we really want and to “Forgive and Apologise” because you never know what will happen tomorrow to the person you are mad at today.

One Direction vs Big Time Rush

...Just another one-hit-wonder or a true star? One Direction. Nickelodeon wannabe or really committed? Big Time Rush. These are both questions when thinking about these two bands, but both bands have strengths and personalities which allowed them to strive. I really can't say if the pop music in this generation has gotten better or worse, because there are so many posers out there you can't tell who's autotuned and who isn't. At first glance, the bands seem identical, because they both have a fan base populated by girls and they're both boy bands. People also think that these bands' will fade out in a couple of years just like Hannah Montana and But truthfully, their music videos and acting, hit singles, and what they could do to have fans staying happy are completely different. Both One Direction and Big Time Rush are great bands, but both have to work to make it to the top. Originally, the members of One Direction each wanted to be solo artists. Yet if it hadn't been for that twist of fate and the discovery from "X Factor", One Direction wouldn't have been where they are today! Other than music videos, the boy band has no acting experience, yet they have 80 MILLION views on YouTube! The closest this boy band has gotten to acting is when Nickelodeon made their online diaries into a weekly television show as of March 2012. Only one of their singles, "That's What Makes You Beautiful" was on the Billboard Top 100, but that doesn't mean they aren't famous! They have performed on...

One Direction

...In 2010, five boys beat hundred of thousands others to get the coveted spots in the seventh series "The X Factor". Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson did not know each other before the audition of the British talent show but they were grouped together by fate and later achieved fame in one direction. The members applied as solo candidates but they did not qualify as "Boys" category, thus judge Nicole Scherzinger suggested them to form a group so that they would qualify as "Groups". One Direction began toppling their competition one by one although they remained the only group in its category. With Simon Cowell as their mentor, One Direction managed to finish third behind runner-up Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. But One Direction were the quickest to break through the charts in United Kingdom and United States. Their supposed winning song "Forever Young" was leaked online after the "X Factor" final. The group signed a recording deal with Syco Records and they went on the annual contestants tour through April 2011. Meanwhile, work on their debut album was also moving fast. "What Makes You Beautiful" was released as the first U.K. Single in September 2011. The song successfully landed at number on U.K. Singles chart. "Gotta Be You" was released as one last bullet before the album "Up All Night" was released in November 2011 and took the second spot of U.K. Albums chart by selling more than 138,000 copies in the first week....

...Dreaming I'm thinking of you tonight And there's nothing that I want more Than to be by your side And let you grab so tight to me As you whisper the words good night to me Late at night I love you, it's true You mean everything to me Words cannot explain how I feel I must be dreaming when I'm awake Your heart is fixing me Without saying anything My worries fall like rain As these melodies run through your veins Let me take you far - just hold onto me And we'll take this world and you will see That in the end, I'll be there for you I love you, it's true You mean everything to me Words cannot explain how I feel I must be dreaming when I'm awake There's a sunshine floating I see clearly now So clearly now There's so much more That I hoped I'd ever find I love you, it's true You mean everything to me Words cannot explain how I feel I must be dreaming when I'm awake Echos My minds at erase And my thoughts are done Ive been meaning to tell you this Since my lies begun The way I feel inside Reflects of the souls in your eyes Ive been meaning to tell you this All of my life To think of who I am Shows much of what you were too Slowly I realize  Ill be fine without you I gave you your chances And you just put them aside To find out too late Of who I am inside Show me yourself come show me who you are These are the times we wish it never went this far Hidden by your words oh god please let me see How someone plays with...

Bealtemania

...Beatlemania Beatlemania is a term that was used for fans of the band group Beatles. On August 23, 1963 marked the earnest start of 'Beatlemania' on home ground in England since the Beatles released the single 'She Loves You', which then took first place on the British charts for seven weeks. It was especially young girls, who waited outside the Beatles TV studio for days, to get one of the few tickets to their concerts. “Beatlemania: 'the screamers' and other tales of fandom” is an article about the Beatlemanias who was a fan group who choked the older generation. The sender is a music writer from “The Guardian” named Dorian Lynskey. The expression “Beatlemania” allegedly coined when a radio reporter saw the fans behavior and Went to the promoter who told him that the Beatles caused their reaction. “ A Radio Scotland reporter turned to Lothian and gasped, "For God's sake Andi, what's happening?" .."Don't worry, it's only… Beatlemania." A ticket to a Beatle concert was not easy to get, therefore young girls would go a little bit to fare, just to get a ticket. When Beatles was playing, the crowd was very noisy, the girls screamed a lot, and they were all happy to see their favorite bands. “"All the girls talked about marrying their favorite Beatle and I think that terrified our parents," says Linda Ihle, who was a 13-year-old”. “Throughout 1963 there had been reports of teenage girls screaming, crying, fainting and chasing the band down the street”. Teenage...
