It is often referred to as the OCEAN model of personality, because the acronym comes from the names of the five dimensions, which are: • Openness to Experience/Intellect • Conscientiousness • Extraversion • Agreeableness • Neuroticism. The Openness trait relates to characteristics that are high on imagination and insight, and have a variety of different interests. Conscientiousness is related to the thoughtfulness of an individual, goal-oriented, very organized, and good impulse to control different situations. Extraversion is a trait that comes with an individual that likes to talk, assertiveness, and can have a high amount of different emotions. Agreeableness is a trait that an individual may have to show kindness, affection, trust, and other calming and thoughtful behaviors. Lastly, Neuroticism is when an individual can have high anxiety, mood swings, irritability, sadness or anger. After taking the personality test I am able to tell you where I fall into each of these five dimensions. Otherwise, I think this a really interesting personality test to take. In the category of openness to experience, I scored low and it said that I was close-minded and not open to new experiences.
