However, in “Counterpoint: There is Danger in Fictionalizing History”, the author interprets this quote negatively. The author also admits that “The Boy in the Striped Pajamas” is entertaining, but calls this a “serious charge” because numerous people read misleading and inaccurate information (Counterpoint).
