Working at Apple is a whole new experience because whatever you do there, you play a part in creating some of the best-loved technology on the planet as well as helping people discover all the amazing things they can do with it. Some call it work, some call it a mission, but in truth it’s actually just a blast. The staff at Apple, are people who love technology and people who love people as well. They range from musicians, photographers, mountain climbers, students, and artists whose interests can’t be defined by a job description. Whether you’re analytical or creative, tech savvy or insightful, there’s a place to share your talents while you learn, develop, and inspire.

At Apple, they make things that make an impact. For example, when someone creates their first video with iMovie, surfs the Internet on an IPhone or uses the built-in iSight camera to video chat with their grandchildren. Making it all happen can be hard work and you could probably find an easier job someplace else, but that’s not the point, is it? Whether you want to be an iPod engineer, a Concierge at an Apple Retail Store, or even a sushi chef on an Apple campus (yes, they have sushi chefs), they are only looking for the best. They desire people who are smart, creative, up for any challenge, and incredibly excited about what they do, or in other words, Apple people. You know, the kind of people you’d want to hang around with anyway.

Sales
As mentioned previously, there are a multitude of jobs available within the Apple industry. A prime and common example would be within the sales department. As one of the top sales organizations in the world, the Apple Sales team is committed to delivering the best computing solutions to students, educators, consumers, businesses, and creative professionals everywhere. Their sales reps have the luxury of selling products that

Did you know that more than 98% of clones are either malformed, stillborn, or die immediately after birth? Did you know that, although they appear normal, most clones have congenital defects such as premature aging? Many cloned animals also suffer from large baby syndrome. In this condition, the fetus grows double its normal size. This syndrome sometimes results in the death of the mother. Cloning is a cruel and unsafe experiment, and any attempt at human cloning would constitute an unethical experimentation upon the unborn child. * Human cloning does not ensure diversity and ecosystem survival Contrary to popular beliefs, human cloning does not ensure diversity and ecosystem survival. The Chosen Ones Summary

...The world is full of powerful and successful people whom are mostly the cause of every movement that goes around the globe. We are either fighting to be like them or against them. In the article The Chosen Ones, Peter Cookson and Caroline Hodges explore different aspects elite schools follow to create the best student body possible as they seek to educate the future successful and powerful generation. Considering the reputation of theses institutions, it is evident that the acceptance process is quite rigorous and therefore only few have the privilege to attend. As the authors say, “If people can be known by the company they keep, cannot schools be known by the students they admit?”. Furthermore, the article discusses some of the requisites of the schools, and studies how the background of students affects or helps their chances to be the chosen ones. Some of the points considered were the wealth of their families, their parents’ education and professions, their geographical origins and family structure. I find it reasonable that those with a higher income in their family were a greater percentage than the ones with an average income. In fact, the families with higher income were also the most educated and with better jobs than the rest....

The Chosen One Gary Smith Analysis

...“The Chosen One” In the article “The Chosen One,” the author Gary Smith portrays the role of destiny through analyzing the complex nature of Tiger Woods. After a brief introduction depicting the Fred Haskins dinner, one of the zeniths of Woods’ career, Smith inserts a flash back to the very moment of Earl Woods’ discovery of his purpose and the inception of “the chosen one.” When Earl tries “est, Erhard Seminars Training, an intensive self-discovery and self-actualizing technique” focused on changing one’s destiny by altering one’s thoughts, especially emotionally, he finds his life’s aspiration– “to be destiny’s father” (42-43). Summary Of The Chosen One By Wally Woods

...In his science fiction action comic, “The Chosen One,” Wally Woods demonstrates the dangers of bottling up emotions and allowing them to consume one’s entire being. To begin, Woods emphasizes the fear that plagues Bobby’s father, Henry, from day to night, the fear that Bobby’s father keeps tightly shut within himself, the fear that, perhaps his daily exposure to uranium and nuclear energy had done something to his reproductive organs and consequently, the fear that it is his fault that Bobby was born an abnormal child that who is alienated from his peers. Evaluate the Influence That Different Stakeholders Exert in One of Your Chosen Organisations

...Evaluate the influence that different stakeholders exert in one of your chosen organisations. Every organization has stakeholders: these are groups or individuals that affect or are affected by the business. The number of stakeholders of a business varies as does their importance and influence. The type of organization and the product or service it supplies also determines its stakeholders. There are three main types of stakeholder. •• Internal – people and departments within your organisation. They are your colleagues. They rely on or use the work you produce – for example, your manager is a stakeholder and other departments who require the services of the PR department are stakeholders. •• External – people and organisations outside your organisation. They may be customers, clients, suppliers and other key individuals or organisations who take an interest in or are affected by your work. •• Interface – stakeholders who function both internally and externally – for example, an organisation with a large trade union presence or shareholders who are also employees. You may not find these in every organisation. Influence of stakeholders on business objectives Owners/stakeholders have a big say in how the aims of the business are decided, but other groups also have an influence overdecision making. For example, the directorswho manage the day-to-day affairs of a company may decide to make make higher sales a top priority rather than profits. Managers influence a...

Topographic Planning of Tourist Destinations Singapore

...Topic: Minimum Spanning Trees of Graph theory and its real life application into the tourism Industry. Abstract: My research question for this extended essay is: Minimum Spanning Trees of Graph theory and its real life application into the tourism Industry. The purpose of this research report is to show how some simple mathematical concepts can also be used as a tool for big scale applications. My extended essay opens up with an introduction on why this topic was chosen and my personal approach. Following the introduction, the next section gives background information about Graph Theory and narrowing down to the concepts of Trees. The research was then narrowed into the theory of Minimum Spanning Trees. 2 crucial algorithms for finding the Minimum Spanning Tree of a network, namely Kruskal’s Algorithm and Prim’s Algorithm were used. These algorithms are used to solve for the shortest path that visits each point at least once or a path of minimum cost, in a given set of vertices and edges. The application of these algorithms into the tourism industry of Singapore involved two different sets of networks, with vertices representing the different attractions. Each network contains 5 different attractions. Following which, raw data such as the distances between each and every attraction were collected before plotting the network. Both algorithms were then compared and contrasted in terms of their effectiveness and identify which is more preferable to be used, in terms of providing...

...Decision making part 2 (Decision models) In order to choose a brand or product among several alternatives, consumers will apply decision rules (models) to evaluate brands and use (or not) very simple or more complex decision rules. In general, as decisions are usually very demanding in terms of cognitive work, consumers will have a tendency to simplify their decision process by using short cuts instead of processing all the available information. These decision rules (shortcuts) are called heuristic. They are a very important components of the decision making process in consumer behavior and each of these decision rules will be described hereafter. We all use common heuristic without even noticing it. For instance, when we always buy the same brand of soft drinks, the heuristic used is brand name. A soon as we see the brand we are loyal to, we choose it. This is our own simplifying rule that allows us not to process any other information for competing brands (price, taste…). Another example of a simplistic heuristic would be to purchase a wine only based on its country of origin. We eliminate all other wines from our decision making process, making it easier. However, heuristics are not always that simple. Here are the most common heuristics used by consumers classified in two broad categories: Compensatory and non compensatory models. Compensatory Model In a compensatory model, the heuristic is quite demanding for consumers as consumers evaluate and compare all available...

How Did George Washington Use Mount Rushmore

...George Washington was a general during the Revolutionary War. He was credited for his winning strategies that help to give us freedom from Great Britain. Another reason that George Washington was chosen to be on Mount Rushmore is “He guided the writing of the Constitution” (Prolman, 29). The Constitution created the office of the President, which George Washington was the first to hold (Tassler). “At his death, Washington was hailed as 'first in war, first in peace, and first in the hearts of his countrymen'” (Tassler). For these reasons, George Washington was an obvious choice to be one of the Presidents on top of Mount...
