This allowed the political aid, placed as Head of Construction by the Proctor, to become rich after starting a profitable betting agency. From time to time, fights erupted with pieces of androids flying everywhere, after it became clear someone had sabotaged the runner crafts Steering Units, or the fixed-positioned space markers had moved. Other androids used this relaxed atmosphere in different ways, extending their hourly breaks to two days, where they could be found on Omega’s fifth planet, lighting themselves up with the highest quality electrodes around, or playing Chibs in its disreputable gambling dens. Afterwards, they too ended up fighting with pieces of their bodies flying everywhere after accusing the gambling den's head-pontiff of mass cheating. In all, they were having great fun. It had become the greatest paid holiday in their entire existence until six runner crafts exploded. In the play, John Proctor and Giles Corey had both broken charity. Initially, by being noncommittal, John Proctor had broken charity with his wife. By the prologue, he had an affair with Abigail, one of the despicable accusers. Proctor declares, “God help me, I lusted, and there is a promise in such sweat” (1259). By committing adultery, John had betrayed and hurt his loved ones. The single action factored into the witch trials that tore apart the community. It was an action that led to the later accusations and hysteria. Next, Giles Corey had betrayed his spouse. Giles shamefully admits, “ I have broken charity with the woman, I have broke charity with her” (1250). He had unknowingly caused the death of his wife. Giles had told another person that his wife had been reading strange books. Giles stated, “I mentioned my wife’s name once and I’ll burn in Hell long enough for that” (1254). The one statement led to her accusation. By telling another person of their personal information, he had broken charity with her. Finally, John Proctor and Giles Corey had both betrayed their wives, yet regret it. Furthermore, the two men were forced to pay for their unfaithfulness with their lives.
