In a kindom by the sea, Annabel Lee lived there who loved Poe the narrator. She had kids who loved Poe just as much. THe cold wind chill killed annabel, poe saying there love is to strong to be defeated like that. Her tomb lies in the sea. Poe's wife got married to him when she was only thirteen years old. Poe was 47 before she was 25. The Poem has several gothic throughout the Poem. This poem specifically tells the youth of the unnamed narrator, and the youth of Annebel Lee. The narrator;s childhood love for Mrs.Lee is full of more than eternal love than that of adults. The poem goes beyond just love, it goes into extreme adoration and a real clingy feel.
