We all know and love the story of Anne Frank and her famous diary. Her story seems one of a kind, yet with Netherlands State Institution for War Documents already had about 200 similar diaries in 1946 (before Anne's diary was even published), and her own sister wrote a similar diary. If there are so many like hers, what makes Anne’s diary so captivating and memorable to so many?

It makes sense that so many know of her tale as her diary has been translated into 70 different languages with over 30 million copies sold.

Anne Frank was 13 years old when she went into hiding from the Holocaust. This provided Anne with the firsthand experience to write about the situation she was in at a young yet intelligent age. The mere fact of Anne's experience

...The Diary of Anne Frank Would you family have the strength to sacrifice everything to stay together? The Frank family did. On July 5,1942 Margot Frank, a shy, sixteen year old was ordered to report to a work camp in Germany. To keep his family united Otto Frank decided to go into hiding in a secret annex located in Amsterdam, Holland with his wife Edith and his two daughters Margot and Anne. The Franks were later joined by the Van Daan Family, which included Mr. and Mrs. Van Daan and their son Peter. Then, Mr. Jan Dussel was the last person to live in the secret annex. These eight people had to live together for more than two years. They had become one big family. The main character Anne, an out-going, loud, sociable, thirteen year old found support to get through the two long years from her father, her older sister Margot, and Peter Van Daan. A father and his daughter have a relationship that nobody and nothing can break. A father and daughter relationship is made up of love, respect, and trust. These three words are the key attributes that make Anne and her father’s relationship so special and unbreakable.
