The documentary video titled: “The education of Michelle Rhee” is centered on Michelle Rhee during the years where she was the Washington DC school district’s Chancellor. It displays and describes the strategies that she used and the reforms that she initiated to push principals and teachers to improve and to ensure better scores for students. Michelle Rhee in The Education of Michelle Rhee demonstrated the characteristics of Erikson’s generativity versus stagnation.

From the time she was appointed as chancellor of the Washington DC school district to the time that she resigned, Michelle Rhee has constantly displayed characteristics of generativity. In fact, her efforts to fix the school district was centered on the students. She believed that students were at the center of the school system and that everything should be done to ensure their success.
