Ever Since I was a child i wanted to be good at something whether that be for my parents or myself. I wanted to make myself and others proud, having someone look at me doing something and say “Wow! He is really good at that!”. I tried so many different hobbies, from sports to video games to music. Nothing really stood out to me, as I was going into high school I began to ask myself “Am I even good at anything?” then my counselor who helps make my schedule suggested I try the theatre class as one of my electives, I figured I would try it out. I had never even thought of doing theatre as a hobby or even really paid much mind to it. Of course ever kid thinks acting in movies would be awesome and cool but never thought there was more to it than that. The first few weeks of the class were just some games to learn about each other and get accustomed to being in front of others. I was already a natural at thinking on my feet and being fearless …show more content…
At first we played a few games to get to know one another, then one day Mr. G told us it was time to get started on the play we were taking to competition. Since there were seniors in the class they got first dibs at the better parts, but I was just glad to be a part of the team. As we rehearsed watching the passion and excitement Mr. G had was inspiring and made me want to be better and give him all I had to make the play better. I was beginning to think theatre was the think for me for the rest of my life, making people laugh and cry just with my acting skills. Even teaching other people how to become better at theatre was becoming a very real possibility in my mind. After rehearsing day after day it was time to go to competition, I was so scared all the students at this place will be just as serious as me about acting and
