The Importance Of Family Life

...I was at a high school basketball game over winter break, a game where a lot of the alumni came back to support. I ran into a former student that I was good friends with, who just so happened to attend CMU. We began talking and after the game he told me to call him if I ever had any questions about college. I ended up calling the same night. We talked about everything from the social life, to the party life, to the difficulty of math courses. He and I are alike in many ways and shared a lot of the same values. He began telling me why he chose CMU, and he had the same exact options as me. He told me that CMU is better geared to set you up with a job right after college, and that I would fit right in at CMU. He described the social life as “unparalleled”, and was very happy he made the decision he made. He also recommended some courses I should take and avoid if I were to end up going to CMU. After he hung up the phone, the decision was very easy for me. I was going to be a Chippewa. I was going to take the chance, leave my friends and family behind(but not too far) and pave my own way. This to me was the perfect choice for me. I was getting away and starting fresh. Though none of my close friends picked CMU as the school for them, I was confident in my social skills that I would friends just as I...

This is a great example that is okay because just like in basketball and school you have to be willing to step out of your comfort zone and be able to experiment and try your own way and solutions to being successful. Its also about you trying to figure yourself out as a person and what you wanna do in life This test also prove to provide knowledge about yourself but at the same time it kinda gives you confidence and wisdom. The confidence comes in when you get the same result because then you'll know you can't change this or that and it won't go away. For example i am a visual and kinesthetic learner and it something i just can't change and by me learning that i am a visual learner it will help me master that skill and create more success for me as a person. The Importance Of Interns In My Life

...It was noon, the month of September was beginning. The thermometer, hanging on the wall next to a poster of a culinary TV show, marked 36 degrees inside an apartment converted into an office space. I was sweating profusely, my armpits felt like a waterfall and my shirt was damp with sweat running down my body during the half hour I’d been waiting there. “The Director is a bit late, but will arrive promptly”, said the secretary, before calling him on the phone, scolding him for not being there in time. He overslept and failed to recall the job interviews he was supposed to conduct with the future interns for his new documentary. I was one of those possible interns. I studied cinema four years in college and complemented my studies with a post-production and editing course in a vocational training center for an additional year. My five years of intense studying would come in handy if I were to be the chosen trainee. Starting my career with a documentary would be a grandiose way to improve my curriculum, and to further my expertise in editing and filmmaking. After two failed interviews; one in a wedding photography company, the other in a production company that wanted me as a courier between the studio and the senior editor, not as a editor; this one could not be unfruitful. I arrived early, hoping that my usual tardiness wouldn’t be noticed before I was even hired. I could hear the sound of the elevator outside in the hall and noticed the light of the apartment building gleaming...
