The investigation of the rare specie ——Echinotriton chinhaiensis
Abstract: Calculate the plant diversity index of Echinotriton chinhaiensis habitat by means of respective measuring density of arbors and total number of herbaceous plants in Echinotriton chinhaiensis residence. After figuring out the number of herbaceous plants and density of arbors, apply Simpson index and Shannon-Weiner index formulas to verify the habitat plant diversity index; obtain such data of different environmental habitats as separate distance between habitat under measurement to path and road, path and road widths, surface temperature and evaluation and analysis of every single habitat; same required data of area, water temperature, water depth, defoliation thickness and rock volume of the breeding pond are to be measured in the Echinotriton chinhaiensis reserve to investigate different influences on Echinotriton chinhaiensis brought by different environmental factors in pond. The average Simpson index and Shannon-Weiner index based on each habitat in the Beilun tree farm are respectively 0.54010 and 1.17561, indicating more preferable plant diversity index for Echinotriton chinhaiensis survival in comparison with the same item records 0.0383 and 1.1138 in Yangshan village. While looking into the geographic factor, it is found that all the habitats are severely sabotaged and interrupted by man, especially Yangshan village’s habitat pollution by the side of the croplands. Beilun tree farm is a comparatively optimal habitat for Echinotriton chinhaiensis’s living and reproducing, given the fact that its community structure is more complicated than any other habitat, and its data of group classes, evenness index along with Shannon-Weiner index are the highest with a minimum pollution level. Xiaoni pond in Yiwu turns out to be the most favorable living environment for Echinotriton chinhaiensis with a small living area. Although echinotriton Echinotriton chinhaiensis’ natural enemy also resides in the pond, yet the existence of three rocks, 0.00286m³, 0.01504m³ and 0.00529m³ in size provide them with perfect shields to lay eggs and protect them from attacks of the natural enemies, thus the pond is a fair place of living and reproducing of Echinotriton chinhaiensis.
