Have you ever went through a traumatic and devastating event that changed the course of your life? Well, it happened to the Mula couple : Alex and Alexa Mula. They lived in Greece in the Late Middle Ages. They had one daughter, Alexis, who they loved very much. They put her in the best literature school, put her in sports classes, and bought her extravagant and expensive toys. But the truth was that Alexis was really a very spoilt child. She would act rude and ill-mannered. Alexis disrespected her elders, and refused to go to church. Most kids at the time were focused on their schoolwork, and anticipated their careers. But not Alexis Mula. She just wanted to get everything handed to her, no matter how much it hurt the other person. One late afternoon, the Mulas had to go to their local church for Alexa Mula’s sister’s marriage, but they left Alexis at home with Sothagorus. Sothagorus was a very simple and old man from a destitute family. He and his wife had eight hungry children to feed.
