“Alright students open your iPad and go learn about the Napa valley fires.” Andre’s teacher told them to write a short essay on the tragic events of the Napa fires. Andre was a good kid and did what he what he was told. He went into the safari search browser and typed in Napa valley fires. He was immediately mesmerized by the xpictures that he saw, pictures of burnt houses, crying families and flaming orange flames that destroyed anything that came in its path. Andre felt lucky that his house and his family was not like that. He was daydreaming about what would happen if his house was like that.
“ANDRE” his teacher yelled. He had fallen asleep on his desk. “Y-yess” he stammered
“Did you finish your mini essay?” the teacher asked. …show more content…
He got up from his bed not knowing what to do. The door was blocked by the fire. He stood traumatized. Suddenly he started punching The window with his fist, harder every time. His hand throbbed and it was clear that he wasn’t making any damage. He took his book and chucked it at his window, it just bounced off. He took his new iphone X and hacked away at the window, nothing happened to the window the new phone just got broke. The fire was coming closer and he felt woozy from all the smoke. He thought of his parents and what they were doing, were they trapped in their room to. He yelled “Mom! Dad!”, no response. He was on his own. A tear dropped from his eye as he realized that he might die and that this may be the last minutes of his life. His life flashed in his eyes, all the memories from his childhood all burning down. He couldn’t believe that his house burned down the day after the Napa Valley fires. He read about how families were separated and destroyed because of fires. Andre had the idea that his family may be destroyed too. Suddenly he snapped out of his daze and became more aware of the problem that he had to face right now. Which was stayin alive. He found his ladder from his old bunk beds. Andre decided to ram into the window with it. As he got ready he prayed that this would work or else he would die. Sweat poured fr9m his forehead as it was over 100 degrees Fahrenheit in his room. 3, 2, 1 he ran and crashed into his

Missouri Mormon Wars of 1838

...The Missouri Mormon War of 1838 was one of the saddest in Missouri history; it was a period or confrontation and violence. The Mormon War of 1838 between Latter Day Saints and their anti-Mormon Missouri neighbors lasted from August 8, 1838 until November 1, 1938. Although a short war, it affected more than ten thousand Mormons in Missouri. The war or some call it a conflict, may have lasted only four months but skirmishes continued to break out between Mormons and anti-Mormons for several years. As I researched books and articles for my paper, I found blame for this war could be placed on either side depending on the author’s opinion. Most of the research indicated this war was a matter of fear, fortitude, power, and politics on both sides. In my opinion we cannot in good conscience say one side or the other started the war. It may not be clear who actually started the war but, the anti-Mormons appeared to have a political reason to get the Mormons out of Missouri. I did find several reasons for the war and it appeared the anti-Mormons had the most to gain. One such reason I found was Joseph Smith, the founder of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Smith believed and reveled to the Latter Day Saints the second coming of Christ would happen near the town of Independence, Missouri. It wasn’t long after Mormons from across the country descended on Jackson County. Causing a rapid growth of Mormon settlements in this area, they came to build up what they...

Bloodlines of the Illuminati

...Bloodlines of Illuminati by: Fritz Springmeier, 1995 Introduction: I am pleased & honored to present this book to those in the world who love the truth. This is a book for lovers of the Truth. This is a book for those who are already familiar with my past writings. An Illuminati Grand Master once said that the world is a stage and we are all actors. Of course this was not an original thought, but it certainly is a way of describing the Illuminati view of how the world works. The people of the world are an audience to which the Illuminati entertain with propaganda. Just one of the thousands of recent examples of this type of acting done for the public was President Bill Clinton’s 1995 State of the Union address. The speech was designed to push all of the warm fuzzy buttons of his listening audience that he could. All the green lights for acceptance were systematically pushed by the President’s speech with the help of a controlled congressional audience. The truth on the other hand doesn’t always tickle the ear and warm the ego of its listeners. The light of truth in this book will be too bright for some people who will want to return to the safe comfort of their darkness. I am not a conspiracy theorist. I deal with real facts, not theory. Some of the people I write about, I have met. Some of the people I expose are alive and very dangerous. The darkness has never liked the light. Yet, many of the secrets of the Illuminati are locked up tightly simply because secrecy is a way...
