The National Labor Relations Act or NLRA is a law regulated by the government that works in favor of collective bargaining and enforces the right to create unions in support of employees. Under this law, certain things are protected. These things include organizing a union, being a part of a union, and organizing a strike against an employer for better working conditions. (Noe, Hollenbeck, Gerhart & Wright, 2011) Employees have the right to practice each of these activities in accordance with the NLRA. In contrast, employers are not allowed to be involved in any dangerous or violent activities involving a strike or threating workers with termination or losing their jobs due to their support of a union.
