If I were going to attend a concert, I would typically buy a ticket for a big-name artist at a stadium-like venue such as Madison Square Garden. In this regard, the Rasputina concert was against my status quo. The first thing that I noticed was that I was by far the youngest person there. The main area of the Haunt had a quaint yet unfamiliar vibe. I think that the building itself, which displayed records and music-related relics on the walls, produced the quaint feeling while the attendees produced the unfamiliar feeling. Specifically, many of the attendees embodied a gothic aesthetic.
