Raytheon is a U.S. incorporated technology company that specialized in providing innovative solutions to its defense, civil government and cyber security clientele. The company has a training and employee lifecycle program in place that is designed to capture the knowledge, wisdom, and experiences of employees who are departing due to retirement or leaving the company. The program is also focused on capture and transference of knowledge internally from employees who are being advanced or promoted to those individuals who will be filling their vacated positions (“Raytheon”, n.d.).
