Most of the readings in Module 11 are talking about the sadness and the personal feelings, also, the process that the authors experienced after their lover died or going to die. Through the readings from Module 11, I can expect the key process of losing someone you love would first experience a very great sadness, then isolating themselves and deny the reality of the situation. After that anger will be generated from the intense emotion. Thus, depression is associated with mourning. It can be either practical or subtle, vary with everyone’s situation and characteristics. Some people who suffered the loss would start to worry the others that usually depends on them, or some will need more private to farewell their loved one. The final stage would be acceptance; the sadness emotion towards the death could be withdrawal. We can’t predict or avoid death, and this phrase is important that no one can help you to go through it. Others can be there for you and comfort you through the process. But the best way is to allow yourself to feel the grief as it comes over you.
