THE SUCCESS OF MICROSOFT Microsoft is a transnational computer technology company, the head office of Microsoft is in America, it is the pioneer of the personal computer all around the world. Microsoft was founded by Bill Gates and Paul Allen in 1975, they set up the headquarter in Washington and Redmond. The main businesses of Microsoft is research and create computer products and services. The most famous and well selling products of Microsoft is Microsoft Windows system and Microsoft Office softwares. Microsoft has the world ranking of 110 in the world 500 companies in 2013, and the ranking raised to 104 in 2014. The annual sales volume of Microsoft is 77.848 million dollars. Microsoft always has the mission statement of New Efficiency. The vision statement of Microsoft is to become the biggest and monopolistic computer industry all around the world. In 1975, when Bill Gates was 19 years old, he dropped he school from Harvard, selling the Begin propose Symbolic Instruction code with his high school friends Paul Allen. After then, they moved to Albuquerque and made a living by making Altair language for MITS company, they set up the Microsoft in a local hotel in Albuquerque. In 1980, Microsoft created an IBM write key for its new PC operating system software, this is a important turning point of the development of the company. Time is pressing and the procedure is complex. Microsoft bought an Operating System from Tim Paterson by 50 thousand dollars and named it Microsoft Disk Operating System. It widely used in many companies and homes, so it has become the standard PC Operating system of computers in 1980s. After few years, Microsoft became a huge company and its cooperate has Apple company and IBM company, but Apple company broke ties with Microsoft because of the benefit.
