Transformation can be frightening but having your life change in a matter of instance can be terrifying? When you allow apprehension to stop you from rising, developing and succeeding it can become such a harsh change in life. This is what leukemia imprinted in my heart and mind. While it is not every day that you receive the devastating words “you have leukemia,” you will remember it as if it was yesterday. Like any other cancer leukemia is a structure of a cancerous progressive disease, in which the bone marrow and other blood forming organs produce. Even though “leukemia cancer is a severe illness disease it might be preventable and adaptable to live with, by being informed.”

2. Draft a conclusion for your essay based on the best practices you studied this week. Your paragraph should be 5 to 7 sentences. Leukemia can be incurable, yet with premature diagnosis, appropriate treatments, and consistency it can enter into remission. With treatment options improving constantly, there may one day be an inevitable cure. This a very dominant disease that can be very hard to treat, but with a positive attitude, stability and strength you can adapt yourself to your new day-by-day lifestyle. Remember, "You never know what’s round the corner but I can safely say that every day truly is a blessing and if I could offer one piece of advice to anybody going through or about to go through this process it would be to keep smiling and never give up no matter how hard it gets." ...review is entitled “Taken”, which stars actor Liam Neeson as he plays the part of Bryan Mills. The “crisis” of the movie is that Mills’ daughter is abducted, drugged, and sold into sexual slavery. Mills, who is a former government operative, begins the longest 96 hours of his life, as he hunts for the gruesome organization that has taken his daughter Kim. Mills had recently given up his long, secretive career to be near his daughter, in hopes of repairing a fractured relationship. Kim lived with Mills' ex-wife Lenore, and her new husband, prior to the abduction. In order to pay his bills, Mills works with some former colleagues for special security details (like guarding a pop diva), but most of his time and energy is spent re-connecting with Kim, as he has been gone the majority of her life. ...The Road Not Taken Poetry Essay In order to write a poetry analysis essay, the reader must first understand the symbols and deeper meaning behind the speaker’s words in the poem. In his poem, “The Road Not Taken”, Robert Frost faces two roads which seem to depict choices in life. The speaker evaluates his choices and consequences, makes a decision, and follows it through regretfully. The writer used imagery to describe the road he took and diction to imply regret and reflection regarding his decision. He used symbolism and archetype in the statement “fork in the road” which reflects unseen choices about life that must be made. In the first stanza, the speaker writes “Two Roads Diverged in a Yellow Wood” in which he describes his situation (610). He has come upon a fork in the road. The poem was written in 1916, when there were scarcely cars around so the imagery in this stanza depicts that the roads were most likely worn out paths with a lot of yellow leaves on the ground. In lines 2-3, the speaker wants to go down both roads but realizes he cannot be on two roads at the same time. He appears regretful that he cannot travel down both paths and so he stands there initially hesitant. The word “stood” in line 3 suggests he was not driving a car. It instantly creates an intimate bond to the familiar theme: Decisions. It was said that Frost referred the speaker of the poem to be his friend and colleague Edward Thomas. For me a path is symbolic of choices and movement. Will I continue moving forward or turnaround and go backwards? This is exactly what the poem, The Road not Taken is about choices.
