In case 2-D “When is objective reporting irresponsible reporting” Theodore L. Glasser discusses a situation that Amanda Laurens, a reporter from the local newspaper faced after printing an article from the mayor’s press conference. The press conference was the previous day before the article was printed and provided information to the readers about the controversy of the meeting. The Mayor Ben Adams accused Evan Michaels, a city council leader of being a liar and getting paid by the local pesticide manufacture which was effecting the birds.
