Para malaman kung may natututunan ba talaga ang mga estudyante. That’s why we come up with different kinds of assessment techniques in assessing our students whether they understood our discussion or not. So sabi ko nung sa interview ni Arvin, I use identification, essay, sometimes roleplay, sometimes group dynamics, sometimesdifferent kinds of assessment. Why? Because there are some who are tactile, there are some who are good in psychomotor, there are some who are good in visual, there are also some who are good in audio. That’s why we use different types of assessment 2. Bakit seatwork ang mas preferred na assessment techniques base sa sagot ng estudyante?
Ans:
Seatwork?No, I don’t agree with that. Because for me, quizzes ang pinakamarami and group dynamics. Maybe they are referring to other teachers not me. Because they are still first year students, I believe that when you say seatworks, you mean essays. I don’t prefer to give essays to my students 3. Why the most effective is seatwork?
Seatwork because usually they are grouped into how many groups, and how many members in one group. So basically, its like if I don’t know the answer, you can help me know the answer.

4. Is the whole classroom assessment technique used in HTOURS1 really effective?
Ans:
Not all. Because usually, hindi natin maiiwasan na may tamad na talagang sumasakay lang sa may ulo so sometimes I also give individual quizzes. Kaya nga sabi ko kanina, I use different types of assessment techniques kasi yung iba youre not good in this, but you are good in this.

6. Reaction papers is the least why?
Ans:
Bec. I only send them in events related to the topic or if not, related to THE subject matter. And I believe not all events are related to HTOURS1. 7. Written report one of the least why?
Ans:
Because usually I don’t give written reports. Instead, I give oral reports.

*Htours1 is more on theories not hands on activities. 8. Same lang ba ang pagbigay ng classroom assessment technique na ginagamit sa bstm at bshrm students?
Ans:
Yes. 9. Recommendations to improve the learning process of students in htours1
Ans:
I believe, to lessen the chapter. Bec. In htours1 we have 15 chapters and we cannot discuss every chapter in 1 semester bec. we have a lot of activities and ofcourse sometimes they need to attend in those activities and sometimes we cancel classes. So hindi kaya yung 15 chapters sa isang sem. We even did not include the tourism organizations bec. we believe that they cannot really understand and appreciate what is the importance of these tourism organizations. So ang naiwan is 14 chapters pero di parin kaya why?bec. in every chapter we need to give an activity aside from the quizzes, reporting and everything as it is written in the syllabus so kulang na kulang talaga most esp in mwf kaya I suggest na sana mahati yung subj na htours1 at htours2. For 1-7 chap is for htours1 and for the other chapters is for the chapter 2. Or if not, tanggalin ang medical tourism, since they will be talking about that in your higher years- forms of tourism. Or pati cruise ship and ecotourism since you have a subject of those- focusing in those forms of tourism
-So ano ba dapat finofocus sa subj?
The history, Definition of terms, economics of tourism, cultural factors with tourist appeal..yun na lang muna sana para hindi sila ma-bombard ng info regarding tourism since parang repetitive and dating. The infos are overlapping – repeating.
-how about yung cultural presentation?
Yes, that is tourism and culture. As for me, as a teacher, I want that to be a final requirement. Why? For these first year students to atleast recall what are their culture. Ngayon nga nagtatanong ako kung anong kultura nila sa kanila, walang masagot, walang masabi. It’s whowcasing regional culture. Even for my Korean students, they also perform theirs. So there is the sharing of culture.
It is better to start from the roots. It is their foundation and they can use that in their higher years and it is for them not to forget. Let us remember first who we are. Tourism and culture is part of the subject but the highlight is still the principles of tourism..the basics. 10. Debate bakit isa sa mga last?
Ans:
Because it is applicable to higher years and not to freshmen 11. Pareho lang ba ang assessment ng bshrm at bstm?
Ans:
Depende sa teacher. Because who knows, that the assessment I use is only applicable in my section and not to the other section. 12. Mas maganda ba na nakahiwalay ang klase ng mga bshrm sa bstm?
Ans:
Yes. Ang behaviour kasi nila magkaiba.pag tourism usually traveling talaga ang tutok nila at pag hrm mga cooking. 13. Difference ng nggrad sa public at private?
Depende parin sa estudyante. Dahil merong mga maggraduate sa public na tutok sa pagaaral, at ganun din sa naggraduate na estudyante sa private. Meron din naming hindi na parehong nagmula sa public at private school.
