Timothy Richard Tebow, a High School State Champion in the state of Florida. He was the first Sophomore to be awarded The Heisman Trophy. He threw Twenty- Nine touchdowns, and rushed for 21 more in his senior year. He was a two-time National Football Champion. In the NFL, he threw twenty-nine touchdowns in his first fourteen games. Yet, these are not the reasons I would love to meet this men. His strong Christian faith has shown through since the moment he was playing Pee-Wee football. The importance to me of meeting Tim Tebow, would be to talk to a man with genuine character, strong faith, and continually showing his believes.

Very recently, Tim, broke up with his girlfriend, Olivia Gulpo former Miss USA, because he would not consummate the relationship. Tebow had stated before the break up that he could really see a future with Olivia. How faithful Tebow is to break up with a gorgeous girl, to put God first along with his standards. Tebow stated after the break up “I know some people won't agree with it, but I think they can at least respect that I stand up for what I believe.” Tebow has since been lambasted by many reporters with the headlines of, “For once it’s not Tebow that’s having trouble scoring it’s his girlfriend.” The criticism however, has not affected Tebow in his choice as he has still stayed true to his abstinence pledge. The action of staying true to his beliefs, and having to end something with someone to keep a promise he made is an act of true character.

Tim Tebow, is a man of consistent character and strong continual showing in his belief in God. He is a constant believer and representative for what he believes in. I would be honored to meet a man of such exquisite
