In the documentary “Tim's Vermeer, Tim Jenison sets out to replicate Vermeer's technique by replicating the scene from the painting “The Music Teacher”. Jenison goes to great lengths to replicate Vermeer's sutdio by renting out a wearhouse with north facing windows. The natural light from Vermeer's studio was conprised of several windows , where the light came in from the north. Jenison's recreation of Vermeer's study was persise and time consuming.
