I think Calpurina is a great example of someone that Scout misunderstood. In the beginning Scout thought Calpurnia did not like her as much as Jem, for she was much harder on Scout than Jem. I think Calpurina was tougher on Scout beacuse she knew what it felt like to have someone making fun of you or not excepting you beacuse of who you are. Scout was being mean to Walter and Calpurnia yelled at her and she did not understand why. At that point of the story Scout did not know how much it hurt to have someone make fun of you and be mean to you for who you are, when you have no control over it. I think Calpurnia was much harder on Scout to make her try and understand that she could not just go out and judge someone based on who they are. I think Boo radley does not like to come outside because he does not like the brightness and he is not used to it. Boo radley is old and sick and I think that is part of the reason he does not come out offten. I think Boo is so used to the dark that he does not like the light. Boo Radley gives the children gifts. I think Boo is a nice person and I think if people got to know and talk to him they would see how nice he really is. I think a part of Boo really want Scout and Jem to think he is a nice man and maybe they would come and talk to him. I think Boo watches over the kids and really likes watching them play and have fun. I think Boo Lives vicariously though the kids as if he wishes he can go out and have fun just like the kids. I think Scout really understood Boo when she walked him home and Stood my his door and saw everything from his point of view. All in all I think a person does not really know someone unless they really take the time and get to know them and see things from their point of
