Abstract
Circuit Business Systems (CBS) began as a computer hardware company in the late 1980s; it has successfully transformed itself into an integrated solutions provider and service provider. A major part of CBS success is directly attributed to its committed use of information technology (IT).
IT has not only facilitated its business processes like operations, customer service and employee training but also integrated its information network with that of its clients to provide them with seamless after sales service, customer service support and other solutions.
This paper looks at how at the background literature on corporate strategies then how CBS evolved, then an overview of the industry then and finally the competitive advantage strategies that were employed to keep the organization in the industry.

Introduction
The PC market is very dynamic and its currently penetrating into other aspects of people’s lives such as multimedia.Untill 2000 there was 15% annual increase in the production of PCs.However recently the annual growth market has slowed down to 3%.When Circuit business started selling PCs the profit returns on investments and the health of the balance sheet was extremely high compared to the situation that is now. However it is now envisaged that with the landing of the fibre optic cable the uptake of the domestic market and the areas that were not penetrated will make the uptake of the PCs market to go a notch higher than the current situation. This will now call for IT companies that deal with the sale and servicing of PCs and related equipment to be innovative in their product and service offerings since the player with the most innovative and or differentiated product or service will have prospects of staying afloat for a very long time.

The formulation of corporate- level strategies is the final part of the strategy formulation

All three try to bribe Paris: Hera offers power, Athena offers success in battle, and Aphrodite offers the most beautiful woman in the world. Paris chooses Aphrodite. Unfortunately, the most beautiful woman in the world, Helen, is already married to King Menelaus of Sparta. Visiting Menelaus, Paris, with Aphrodite's help, betrays his host's hospitality and kidnaps Helen back to Troy. All the Greek kings have at one time courted Helen, so her mother has made them all swear to always support whomever she might choose. When Helen is abducted, the only men who resist conscription are Odysseus, who does not want to leave his home and family, and Achilles, whose mother knows he is fated to die at Troy and holds him back. In the end, however they join the rest of the Greeks and sail united against Troy.  En route, the fleet angers Artemis, who stops the winds from blowing. To appease her, the chief of the Greeks...
