The slower beat that the song returns to is the high. It’s the calm that a person feels when the are worry free. When I first heard this song I had no reason to believe it was about anything than what was being obviously sung about. But when I listened to the lyrics it revealed the suffering that we as humans go through and what some people will do to escape, even if only for a matter of hours.
