Travel to Jeju Island Many people enjoy traveling when they have a long break. Through traveling, which is an escape from their repeated daily boring life, people can have a fresh experience and get energy to stand their humdrum life, like we take a ten minutes break time after we study for one hour. I also love going on a trip. Of all the trips I had been on, my most memorable journey was to the Jeju Island with my family. Even though the island was a small area, such as millet, in the world, the family vacation showed me unforgettable beauty and gave me precious memory, such as landscape and coastline road. My unforgettable memory began as soon as I arrived at Jeju Island. I took an airplane to visit Jeju Island from Incheon airport. After about one and a half hour, I arrived at the island. The Jeju airport was not particularly different, but when my family went to out to reserve a rent car, we could not hide our surprised looks. As soon as we stood at the outside of the island, I could not forget the feeling of the cool wind, like a cold sprite in refrigerator, rushing through my whole body, the sunshine that caressed me, and the salted air smell which pleasantly irritate my nose. Also, after we got the rent car, driving on route gave me a strong impression, because there were tall trees like giant and straighten road like airplane runway. It made me recall Guam Island which is a famous tourist attraction in the United States. The emotion was the same as when I try to eat a new food which I had not eaten before, because it was totally different environment from my sweet house. My sweet house was surrounded by concrete jungle. Another forgettable memory was the maze forest. During the first day, my family visited a maze forest. I had small expectations about the forest before I visited the maze forest, because I did not think that there could be a huge maze forest in such a small island the size of a coin. I guess it was a small size for a maze forest. My thought was not changed until we purchased tickets to enter the forest at totter ticket office. However, I was absolutely wrong. There were huge size maze forest castles instead of small ones. I felt shocked like someone hit my head by heavy hammer. Perhaps it was because I presumed the forest would be unattractive and predictable, like seeing an ending to a film beforehand, but seeing the forest was like observing the subjects of the film acting out scenes of their alluring memories. The other forgettable memory on the island was the Jeju coastline road. We drove through the road with a nice convertible car like a bald eagle. The road encircled the whole circumference of the island, like a mother enfolding her newborn baby. While we were riding the car, we had to stop driving because there were awesome landscapes. The blood color Sun greeted us across the boundless blue light’s ocean and the Dol haerubang made by special rock, which born from lava of Jeju Island, stared my family with scary smile. We could not experience this kind of unusual view in the any other place. There are many islands in the world, and each island have their own beauty, but I think Jeju Island is the most beautiful island in the world. The reason is that the island holds a different sapidity due to traditional Korean culture and beauties, which are melted evenly throughout the whole island. I always look forward to visiting the Jeju Island again in the close future.

...PsychOLOGY 1 | Before My Death | Summer 2014 | | | 7/14/2014 | “Every man's life ends the same way. It is only the details of how he lived and how he died that distinguish one man from another.”  ― Ernest Hemingway | Since I am still a high school student, I have not yet achieved much. I still have many dreams and hopes that I am desperate to achieve. Some may be foolish while others are practical, either way I hope I have a chance to make my goals happen. According to the Death Clock I have until October 8, 2077 which will give me 63 years to try to live my life to the fullest. The first thing I want to accomplish is finish all of my schooling. That includes finishing high school, earning my under-graduate degree, completing an MD program, and finish the postgraduate residency program so I can become a Forensic Pathologist. Ever since I was a young girl, I have dreamed of working in the Forensics field. In that last two years I have decided I wanted to specifically become a Medical Examiner after giving it much thought. Even though most Forensic Pathologists have very unstable work hours, they have the highest pay and many cases provide a problem-solving challenge. My second goal would be to continually live a happy life. Though most people would think a happy life is something anyone easily can have, I believe it is not something one should take for granted. In the last couple of years of going to an all-girl high school, I have seen so...

South Korea South Korea is a country located in the southern part of Korean peninsula. The population is 48,955,203 people (July 2013 est.) which make South Korea to be the 25th largest country in terms of population despite the relatively small area of the land. But, first of all, let’s see the general culture of people in South Korea: 1. Homogeneous There is a term of ‘hanminjok’ (한민족) in South Korea which literally means South Korean race. This term is used to describe that South Korean actually prefer to not mix their race with other races through international marriage because they afraid that they eventually will not have the pure Korean race anymore. However, the diplomatic relationship between USA and South Korea where USA helps South Korea for the military made USA military base established in some parts of South Korea actually opened the opportunity for more people from USA to come and stay in South Korea and eventually have their own family in South Korea which contributes to the increase in the international marriage in South Korea, especially in Seoul. 2. ...S.R. Luthra Institute of Management, Surat 2011-2013 A Comprehensive Project On SouthKorea Economy Submitted to Ms. Delnaz Kasturwala By INTRODUCTION: South Korea has a market economy which ranks 15th in the world by nominal GDP and 12th by purchasing power parity (PPP), identifying it as one of the G-20 major economies. It is ahigh-income developed country, with a developed market, and is a member of OECD. South Korea is one of the Asian Tigers, and is the only developed country so far to have been included in the group of Next Eleven countries. South Korea had one of the world's fastest growing economies from the early 1960s to the late 1990s, and South Korea is still one of the fastest growing developed countries in the 2000s, along with Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan, the other three members of Asian Tigers. South Koreans refer to this growth as the Miracle on the Han River. Having almost no natural resources and always suffering from overpopulation in its small territory, which deterred continued population growth and the formation of a large internal consumer market, South Korea adapted an export-oriented economic strategy to fuel its economy, and in 2010, South Korea was the seventh largest exporter and tenth largest importer in the world. Despite the South Korean economy's high growth potential and apparent structural stability, South Korea suffers perpetual damage to its credit rating in the stock market due to the belligerence of North Korea in times of deep military...

Medical Tourism

...PROJECT REPORT ON MEDICAL TOURISM WITH REFERENCE TO INDIA Origin and Evolution of Medical Tourism Medical tourism is actually thousands of years old. In ancient Greece, pilgrims and patients came from all over the Mediterranean to the sanctuary of the healing god, Asklepios, at Epidaurus. In Roman Britain, patients took the waters at a shrine at Bath, a practice that continued for 2,000 years. From the 18th century wealthy Europeans travelled to spas from Germany to the Nile. Since the early nineteenth century, when there were no restrictions on travel in Europe, people visited neighboring countries in order to improve their health. At first, mere traveling was considered to be a good therapy for mental and physical well-being. In the 21st century, relatively low-cost jet travel has taken the industry beyond the wealthy and desperate. Later, mostly wealthy people began traveling to tourist destinations like the Swiss lakes, the Alps and special tuberculosis sanatoriums, where professional and often specialized medical care was offered. In this century, however, medical tourism expanded to a much larger scale. Thailand, followed by India, Puerto-Rico, Argentina, Cuba and others quickly became the most popular destinations for medical tourists. Complicated surgeries and dental works, kidney dialysis, organ transplantation and sex changes, topped the list of the most popular procedures. It was estimated that in 2002, six hundred thousand medical tourists came to Bangkok and...

North Korea War

...Korean War Korean War The Korean War (25 June 1950 - armistice signed 27 July 1953[1] ) was a military conflict between the Republic of Korea, supported by the United Nations, and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, supported by the People's Republic of China (PRC), with military material aid from the Soviet Union. The war was a result of the physical division of Korea by an agreement of the victorious Allies at the conclusion of the Pacific War at the end of World War II. The Korean peninsula was ruled by Japan from 1910 until the end of World War II. Following the surrender of Japan in 1945, American administrators divided the peninsula along the 38th Parallel, with United States troops occupying the southern part and Soviet troops occupying the northern part.[2] The failure to hold free elections throughout the Korean Peninsula in 1948 deepened the division between the two sides, and the North established a Communist government. The 38th Parallel increasingly became a political border between the two Koreas. Although reunification negotiations continued in the months preceding the war, tension intensified. Cross-border skirmishes and raids at the 38th Parallel persisted. The situation escalated into open warfare when North Korean forces invaded South Korea on 25 June 1950.[3] It was the first significant armed conflict of the Cold War.[4] The United Nations, particularly the United States, came to the aid of South Korea in repelling the invasion. A...
