...from their trips. He also mentioned a few of his past experiences and his feelings based on his travelling days. Based on this article, we conclude that travelling is not only moving elsewhere other than our homes and coming back the same person. It changes a person’s perception of life in either positive or negative ways. Through his personal travels, he has highlighted travelling makes him sees in a different point of view in most of the countries like in Paris, Mickey Rourke was still known as the greatest actor since Jerry Lewis. I’m in a full agreement in his statement of his definition of the joy travelling as people have to be open minded to enjoy ourselves. An example which would be meeting and understanding the local trends like I did when I was in Japan. Their trending faster than Malaysia when I was there. Besides that, he brought up that travelling is a way to reverse time to a small extent, and make a day last a year. I also strongly support this as families tend to cram a bunch of activities all in a day because no one in this world wants to “waste time” but wanting to make use of the little time they have away from home. I have also experienced travelling and wanting to accomplish all the plans in a day as I was in Italy for 2 months of vacation but unfortunately did not manage to visit all the places that were planned. Therefore, travelling definitely limits our day and allows us to appreciate time and use it to its full potential. ...

...The 2004 Boxing Day Indian Ocean Tsunami happened at 00:58UT at 3.316 degrees North and 95.854 degrees East. The Tsunami lasted 8 minutes and caused 227,898 people to lose their lives, which affected many people in India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Somalia, Sri Lanka and Thailand. The Indian Ocean Tsunami was created by a series of chain affects including subduction, formation of an earthquake, formation of a tsunami and wave formation. Subduction is the process that takes place at the boundaries by which one tectonic plate moves under another tectonic plate. The tectonic plates push against each other, causing a build up of pressure, which causes dramatic movement. The Indian Ocean Tsunami was located 250 kms off the West coast of Sumatra, Indonesia. The process of the Indonesian Tsunami was caused by the denser Indo-Australian plate was moving east while grinding against the lighter Burma tectonic plate and this caused the Burma plate to move about six centimetres a year over 150 years which caused a large amount of pressure to build up. The build up of pressure of by the Indo-Australian and Burma Tectonic plates in the continent of South-East Asia caused the formation of the earthquake that formed the Indian Ocean Tsunami. The build up of pressure over the years, forced the earths crust to break, causing a 9.3 magnitude earthquake on the 26th of December 2004. The epicentre of an earthquake is the point on the earth's surface directly above the focus of...

...CRISIS MUST BRING CHANGE IN THE AIRLINES INDUSTRY IN MALAYSIA. INTRODUCTION Airline can be described as provide air traffic services to passenger from origin to destination. Airlines also can be known as oligopoly market structure. This is because only few firms that involve in producing similar or differentiated product, that is air traffic services. Many characteristic or factor that make airline as oligopoly market structure and ca n be categorized as high barrier to entries. Because of that, small factor can be easily affect and bring the airline into crisis. The industry generates substantial cash flow to repay debt and buy new airplanes, which, like most tangible goods, depreciate over time. The industry also is distinguished by the amount of time and effort which must be concentrated on customer service, requiring a high amount of labour. More than one third of airlines’ revenue is consumed by the industry’s work force. Revenue from aircraft industry can be simplified as from sources such as passengers (75 percent), cargo shippers (15 percent) and other transport services. About 80 percent of passenger revenue comes from domestic tickets, while frequent flyers, which travel more than 10 times annually, constitute about 40 percent of trips but only 8 percent of the total flying public. What is ‘crisis’? A crisis is any event that is, or expected to lead to, an unstable and dangerous situation affecting an individual, group, community or whole society. Crises are...

...of the tourism industry. St. Augustine once wrote: The world is a book and those who do not travel read only a page. I totally agree with the sentence above as traveling brings positive effects indeed. First of all, we experience new things when we travel. We get to interact with new places, regions and cultures. For instance, by traveling to Malaysia where people of different races live side by side, one may discover the relative racial harmony. When traveling in a different part of the world, we expand our knowledge and widen our perspective. While visiting places, our vision becomes enlarged just as by sitting at a small place makes one’s vision narrow. Secondly, travelling provides us the opportunity to disconnect from our routine. We relax and enjoy during the travel without have to worry our problems or issues for some period. We are all burdened with crazy schedules of work or schooling. Travelling away alone or with friends may help us to relax ourselves. The distance of travelling may also help one figures things out that they would not have understood. In the view of the environment, travelling helps promote conservation of wildlife and natural resources such as rainforests, as these are regarded as tourism assets. The entrance charges or guide fees we paid helps generate funding for maintaining animal preserves and marine parks. Tourism can be such a great way to preserve the environment. The tourism industry plays an important role in many...

...A Trip to Malaysia Travelling is a sense of adventure that excites people, and also is a big chance for us to learn about other cultures and the way people live their lives. While many tourists travel to France, England or some famous countries in Europe, fewer travel to a small country in Asia. As someone who loves to explore and enjoy new things, 3 years ago in the summer, my boyfriend and I decided to backpack to Malaysia. It was a fantastic trip and an amazing experience for us that you should definitely try it. In this country, there are three destinations that travelers should not miss: the Petronas Twin Towers, Golden Triangle area, and The Genting Highland Park. When we arrived into Kuala Lumpur, we headed straight to the Petronas Twin Towers, which are also known as the world’s tallest tower. They are an impressive icon of the capital of Malaysia that are visible from about everywhere in the city, and dominate the night sky. The Petronas Twin Towers are 1,483 feet tall, have 88 stories, and were completed in 1998. The architecture was very magnificent from the outside, especially at night, they look like ice sculptures. The most attractive architecture of the tower is that at the 41st and 42nd level, there is a skybridge connecting the two towers. The bridge is 170 meters above the ground, 58 meters long and weighs 750 tons. My boyfriend and I drove the high-speed lift that zooms up to the skybridge on the 41st floor; we walked across the skybridge to take some pictures...
