Ladakh is situated at the northern most part of India. In state of Jammu and Kashmir state at the Kargil and Leh. Overwhelm yourself with the virgin beauty of shimmering lakes, gurgling rivers, proud mountains, mystic lamas and loving people. Ladakh is a retreat for the urban dweller from the daily humdrum of cosmopolitan life in to the caressing lap of nature.

Day 01 Arrival at Srinagar airport you will be transferred to the House boat , after rest you can enjoy Shikara ride on the lake and pleasant . Over night in House boat .
Day 02 Srinager – kargil via sonmarg and Zojilla pass 3527 mts (205 km ) it will take (7-8 hours) Early in the morning after breakfast drive towards Kargil . After crossing the city is another spectacular facet of country side in Kashmir in Sindh valley . The Sindh valley is largest tributary of the valley of Kashmir. After sonmarg most rough road and wet Zojilla pass (Gate way of Ladakh) This road continue to drive Drass (The Second coldest inhibited village in world ) after more two and half hours drive to Kargil at the altitude of (2715 mts) over night in Hotel
Day 03 Kargil – Uley tokpo via Photola pass, Namkila pass , lamayuru Monastery - Leh(235 km) , After breakfast visit to the Kargil Museum then leave for uleytokpo . on the way you can enjoy the beautiful landscape After crossing the two passes you are in Lamayuru popularly known as (Moon Land) and it is also famous for its Monastery . than we will move to ulleytokpo . Than move to Alchi Monestery One of the oldest Monestery in ladakh which is build in 11th century , , Magnetic hill , Sangum, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara. Arrive in Leh . over night in Hotel/ Guest house.
Day 04 Local sight seen Today we proceed for a day excursion to Indus Valley visiting the impressive Shey Palace- was the seat of power of the king of Ladakh, who constructed the hill top fortress. The ruins can be seen above the present Shey Palace. Shey was also first capital of Ladakh. The Palace was built in the beginning of the 17th century AD, the main image in the monastery is the three storey statue of Buddha, made of copper.
From here we start our guided walk to Thiksey monastery, takes about 1 hr. the trail pass through the white stupas and lush & green valley surrounded by barley fields. Arrive Thiksey and visit the imposing Thikse monastery, quite resemblance to the Potala Palace in Lhasa (Tibet). The monastery belongs to the Gelukspa (Yellow hat) order of Tibetan Buddhism. Around 80 monks resides here at present. Further we continue our drive to Hemis alongside Indus river. At Hemis visit the 17th century Changchubling gompa- considered to the richest monastic establishment in Ladakh. The gompa is famous for its annual monastic festival held every year in June-July months. Later we drive back to Leh (43 km/ 2 hrs). overnight inl. Leh

Day05 Leh – Nubra –via Khardong la pass (18380 fts)(5-6 hrs)(125 km
Today drive over the Khardung La Pass 5602 m high above sea level, is the highest motorable road in the World. Enjoy an outstanding view of Indus valley & Karakuram mountain range from top of the pass The Temperature is low on k- top ,so carry heavy jacket and gloves .We have overnight in beautiful guest house located in the lush green Hunder valley with a garden and restaurant. Evening explore this beautiful village & visit to local kitchen and interact with local residents with cup of butter tea. Over night in Hunder village Guest house.
Day 06 Hunder to panimik, Summor.
(1)=Full day exploring the Nubra Valley visiting monasteries, double humped Bactrian double humped camel, people working on the field and beautiful landscape. The Nubra Valley was first opened to outsiders in 1994 and remains a restricted area. Fertile green villages stand out in the desert-like environment along the Nubra and Shyok rivers which flow in the wide valley floor formed by the Karakoram Mountains to the north and the Ladakh Range to the south. This valley was on a major branch of the ancient silk route between Leh and Yarkland. A small herd of camels that descended from the caravans are still found in the valley sand dunes near Hunder. If you like you can do small camel safari in nearby sand dunes. After drive to other side of vallay
Panamik village (now a sleepy village, was once a major trade centre for merchants) and Hot-springs (known as the medicine water). Drive back to Summor en route visit the holy lake and Samstanling gompa. If time permits, you can walk from the gompa to guest house. Overnight in guest house in the middle of village Summor.

(2)=Hunder –Turtuk (approx 60 kms) . After the breakfast visit Diskit Monastery (515 years old ) in Morning so Pray can be seen than drive to Turtuki which is first time open to tourist in 2010. This place is captured by Indian Army in the war of 1972 from Pakistan. The border village is part of famed silk route , has an interesting history . It is situated amid the lofty Himalayan and Karakorum Ranges. Its high mountain peaks, turquoise blue lakes,NARROZ festival with rich Bulti culture . Lush green oasis increases its beauty and more over horse Polo a magnificent game , If you are lucky you can see the game. Over night in Turtuk / Guest house.
Day 07 Back to leh From any of one place. Early morning drive back to Leh cross the Khardongla pass once again and reach Leh. Later if time permit , can go to Sunset point Shanti stupa.Over night in Leh
Day 08 Leh to Pangong Lake to Leh (320 Kms) (9 hrs) After early Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft), through Changla Pass 17,350 ft.,it is the third highest motor able road in the world. 1200 hrs. arrive Pangong,it is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Packed or Hot Lunch will be provided. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the Banks of pangong while appreciating the changing Colors and fascinating high altitude of the Lake. Drive back to Leh by the same route. Overnight Hotel

Day09 leh to Serchu (255 Kms)
Early morning, leave for Serchu through Tanglang La Pass 17,585ft and Indus Valley. After Lunch drive to Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (Biggest and Highest Plateau Nakeela and Lachangla Pass 16,617 ft. Pang. on Earth on Stretch of 42 Kms), Overnight in Camp
Day 10
Sarchu to Manali (222 Kms)
Leave for Manali by early Morning, through Baralacha Pass(16020 ft)., Lahaul Valley, Tandi, Keylong, Jispa, Lunch Break at Darcha. After lunch, drive to Serchu through Rohtang Pass (13050 ft) Overnight Hotel/

...Pepsi nuts over new nut snack Chaitali Chakravarty, ET TEAM Nov 21, 2001, 10.02pm IST enthused by the profits that fritolay has generated, parent pepsi, is adding more to its snackfood subsidiary. the company is set to roll out a new nut-based snack, nutyumz, nationally. also, plans are afoot to eventually drop lehar from the lehar kurkure brand. sources said that lehar kurkure has been earning a substantial amount for fritolay (it accounts for more than one-third of its total turnover) and it is about time to market it under the kurkure brand alone. sources said that nutyumz will be launched in different flavours. the brand has been innovated for the indian market alone. besides india, mexico is the only other market where pepsi is selling nut-based snacks under a different brand name. in india, nutyumz will be manufactured in the company-owned plant in pune. the fritolay spokesperson confirmed the launch of new brand. sources said pepsi is gung-ho about fritolay as the subsidiary has been making some money, it ended the year 2000 with a rs 4 crore profit, up from rs 3.04 crore earned in the year ending 1999. pepsi's idea is to create new categories to suit indian tastes and pump up the profit figures by at least rs 2 crore by the end of 2002. sources said that after pepsi acquired uncle chipps, it got within its fold an entire constituency. lays and uncle chipps together earn the maximum (around 50 per cent) for fritolay, while cheetos and lehar namkeen are still on the...
