Tuck Everlasting

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live forever? Have you wanted to live forever? What if you got shot in the heart and couldn't die? Would you be frightened? If you read Tuck Everlasting you would know.
The characters names are the same. The names are Winnie, Jesse, Miles, mae, Angus and the Man in the Yellow Suit ( neither the book or the movie says his name).
Winnie and the Man in the Yellow Suit met at the gate in front of Winnie’s house.Winnie met the Tucks and they told Winnie about the spring that was by their house. Whenever Winnie sees the Tuck's house inside it was cluttered and not organized, Winnie did not like that.
When Winnie was talking to the Tucks, the Man in the yellow Suit walked in and …show more content…
Winnie is eleven in the book but in the movie she's fifteen.
Winnie's grandma isn't old in the book but in the movie she was old. In the book it says the Man in the Yellow Suit has white hair the movie he has brown hair.
Winnie's kidnapping was described more pleasant in the movie Miles snathches up Winnie and takes off to his homes.
If you read the book first; you know that Miles is suppose to be gentle, he wasn't gentle in the movie, he was harsh to Winnie when he kidnapped her. Winnie refused to sleep in Mae’s nightgown in the book she didn't think that it was right unless it was her nightgown, she did wear Mae’s in the movie. The author of the book said, that Jesse went downstairs and told Winnie when she was seventeen she should drink from the spring and go to Paris with him. The movie he doesn’t do that, they get done swimming and he says, you want to go to paris with me? Winnie says, yes and they kiss.
Miles family is never mentioned in the book when the Tucks and winnie were talking they mention his family in the movie?
In conclusion, I like the movie better than the book. The movie has more actions that you can see and not have to read/ hear the story and imagine something that would be way different than what it probably

Making The Right Choice In Tuck Everlasting By Natalie Babbitt

...After analyzing the novel, Tuck Everlasting, by Natalie Babbitt ,the theme Making the right choice is not always easy was played out amongst the characters in interesting ways. One detail that proves why making the right choice is not always easy on Tuck Everlasting is on page 25 it states “And thought, her instinct was to turn and run, she was pleased to discover that her curiosity was stronger. She began to creep forward. Than she would turn and run.” I picked this certain detail because this shows how Winnie Foster wanted her freedom and she could not get it unless she ran away and that's what she did and now she had got what she always wanted. Another detail that proves why in Tuck Everlasting making the right choice isn't always easy...

Tuck Everlasting: Book Vs Movie

...Which one is better ? Movie VS. Book What if you could live forever? What if nothing killed or hurt you? In Tuck Everlasting, the Tuck family deals with just that because they drank some magic spring water that won’t let them die. The story started as a book, then was made into a movie. Personally I like the movie better, but you will have to read the book and watch the movie to see which one you like better. The book and the movie have a lot in common but there are also many differences. One similarity is in both the book and movie there is a frog which in the “convinces” Winnie to run away. Winnie is “kidnapped” by the Tuck family who really don’t kidnap her, but instead are wanting to explain and tell her that they can’t die and...
