As we all grow up we find out what triggers us to be better and at certain things. Tulley makes a point that as soon as kids are trusted with dangerous objects, they feel more comfortable and end up having a greater imagination and become better at problem solving. As I heard Tulley’s speech and saw the videos he incorporated, I agree that when kids know that they can be free just by being trusted, they have a tendency to get through things in a different or better sense than they normally would do. In Tulley’s speech “Life lesson through tinkering”, he first notes that once kids know that things can go wrong, they are more content with the idea of succeeding, secondly, when going towards completing something, failure, problems and obstacles get turned around, lastly decoration of the kids setback boosts their problem solving.
