Abstract
Nordstrom, an upscale retailer has been well-known for outstanding customer service for over
100 years. This company continuously offers customers the best possible service and products
when they visit our stores. Robert Spector, co-author of “The Nordstrom Way,” says his
favorite story is of a woman with one leg who jokingly bet a Nordstrom salesperson that he
would not sell her just one shoe. He was glad to split up the pair, though, to her astonishment,
Nordstrom gained a life-long customer in the process. According to Spector, “No one knows
how many times she has told that story.” I do think that it is worth the price of a shoe.
