The American Robin (Turdus migratorius) is an organism that has a dark gray back and wing feathers with white arcs around the eyes and a white super cilium. They are usually known for their yellow bill and reddish-orange chest feathers. Also they have streaks of black on their white throat and their under tail covert feathers are also white. The American Robin can weigh anywhere from 54 to 94 grams, and can grow from 23 to 28 cm long with a wingspan of 31 to 41 cm. The organism usually resides in open woodlands, farmlands, or urban areas during breeding periods. The notorious notion that birds migrate due to change in season does not go hand in hand with the Turdus migratorius, it migrates in search of food which usually tends to correlate
