“Terwilliger Bunts One”, is the true story about the author, Annie Dillard’s memories of her mother. Many of these memories stemmed from observing her mother’s unique personal traits and qualities. Annie Dillard while narrating her stories she is describing her mother, Annie´s mother has a very peculiar personality she has a wicked sense of humor as we can see in page one at bottom of page two where she asks the doctor if she would be able to play piano after her surgery also on page three whenever she received a wrong number phone call she gives the phone to Amy or Dillard to prank the one on the phone. Dillard´s mom liked to bother people as we can notice in page three line 21, when they where on Family trip in The Highland Park Zoo Dillard´s mom approached to a young couple and started talking to the boy and telling him that she remembers him and can come to her whenever he wants, making the girl pissed causing them to separate.
Dillard´s mom is not just a funny mom she also tough Annie different lessons she wants to demonstrated to her daughter how she doesn’t know everything and how she is to young to know it, as we can see on page two line 25, when Annie’s mother said to her that there was a deer in the front hall expecting Annie to react and ask about in steed of relying as always I know and that how she reminds her about she doesn’t know all. In the story Annie narrates the intellectual of her mother in page 4 telling about her mother inventions. Annie´s mom tough her how to take on anybody no matter who or what we can deduct this by phrase on page 6 line 16, and another teach from Annie’s Dillard mom was to investigate and don’t believe in something because everyone says so, like when Annie came back and announce that “Eisenhower is going to win” and the mother told her to don’t believe in that because every one says.
