My fellow comrades, this is your leader, Snowball speaking.
Things may seem at peace now after the Battle of the Cowshed, but it’s merely the calm before the storm. I’m sure we are all fully aware that those humans are bound to strike again. And this time, their attack will be much stronger than before. As much as you don’t want it to happen, you can’t deny this impending tragedy. We’ve come so far; we cannot let the humans destroy everything we’ve done. We have to make a stand. We have to be prepared to face the humans. And I have a plan on exactly how to do that. I say we send out more and more pigeons to the other farms; get them to stir up rebellion among the animals there. We must unite all the animals from other farms; we are all in this together. It is time for the animals to show our might and power. Imagine comrades, all the animals of all the farms, standing united against the humans. We will overpower the helpless humans, and peace will return once again, no more evil humans to control us. Animal Farm will be our haven.
Defense, comrades, I do understand the meaning of defense; it does not necessary means protecting yourself with great powerful weapons. Although, yes, if we can protect ourselves with simply a pull of a trigger, then why not? I believe that none of us want any lives to be taken away, do you? Not even human ones. And we have to remember that we are animals and accept the fact that our brains and the structure of our body parts is not as advanced as that of humans, just like how my trotters are similar to the hands of humans. And because of that, we might unintentionally hurt or even kill one of us! As you can see, it’s highly dangerous. Why not we do it the less dangerous and more efficient way? We can just send out more pigeons and stir up rebellion among the animals of other farms, we can tell them how we succeeded in the battle of the cowshed and make them believe that we can survive without humans, in fact, we can live p-perfectly normal, or even better than having a worthless parasitical human being around. When more is on our side, the humans will back off and give up the idea of attacking us, recapturing the farm back. In this case, not only nobody will be hurt, it is also a more efficient way, not everything can be solved with violence.
My dear comrades, as for carrying out the idea of stirring up rebellion among animals on the other farms, all we need are messengers to go over and talk to them, convince them and show them how successful our farm is right now, how free we all are away from those evil humans. We can even show them how much food we get to eat and show them our bountiful harvest every year. We can tell them the inspiring story of how we rebelled, reminding them to remain strong and united together as one. Remember, during the Battle of the Cowshed how hard we all fought? How many lives were lost? How many of us were injured? Are you sure you want that to happen again? Think about it comrades, if there’s no need for us to fight and yet win, it is definitely a better choice. We’re killing two birds with one stone.
When there are more of us together in this, we will definitely win. The humans cannot do anything. If all the animals in England unite and rebel against the humans, what can they do? Look, right now, we are the only farm that’s rebelling. It will be very easy for the humans to attack us over and over again no matter how prepared we are, as there are more of them. All we need to do is get the other animals to follow us and soon all animals in England will be freed from torture and slavery. Isn’t that our ultimate goal since the start of the rebellion? Isn’t that the dream of Old Major that we all want to fulfill? Just imagine all of us animals rebelling against the humans and they cannot do anything but run because our army is too big. Just think, after a short while, we’ll all be freed and no lives will be lost. If you vote for my idea, all of you will not have to work that much and lose your friends because of those bloody human fools. Don’t you feel that a bigger army is definitely stronger? We need more of us to fight together. So please, if you really want this farm to be ours and not fall in the hands of the humans, make the right choice. Follow me to stir up a rebellion among the other farms.

Yet, in my head, I could only think about how today was not a day to play basketball. That’s an extraordinary sport.” I thought to myself. “Sure dude, I’ll give it a shot.” I said with bliss. My comrade and I walked to the field. I was then was acquainted to the team. “Hey team! Miley Cyrus Goes Gluten-Free Research Paper

...question: what is gluten? When most hear the term “gluten-free,” they are immediately reminded of the pretentious Los Angeles individual that tries to portray that they are “healthy.” They imagine the yoga pants wearing, fresh pressed juice drinking, valley girl who tries portrays the epitome of living a “healthy lifestyle.” With that comes the perception that they are either wealthy, maintaining a diet for a future film they will star in, or just because all their friends are on the new trendy diet. Within Jimmy Kimmel’s video, Pedestrian Question – What is Gluten? his audience was able to see just that. When people who claimed to strictly be on a gluten-free diet were asked what exactly gluten was…. silence… followed with an occasional “uhhhh, I don’t really know. I just know its bad for you.” The video truly depicts the theory that the gluten-free trend, is just that, a trend. Yes, there are people who go gluten-free everyday for the sake of saying they are on the diet. And yes, there is a large celebrity influence on the success of the gluten-free trend. The flourishing of gluten-free products was a revolutionary time for me, and all my fellow allergic-to-gluten peers around the world. Years and years of (tasty) gluten-free product exploration, it was a time of great discovery. Growing up being allergic to gluten, I lived through it all: the rough times where the term “gluten-free” was a foreign idea to many people, and as well as the great explosion of the gluten-free movement...

Cell Fault

...“Uhhhh……., well build a raft! There’s plenty of wood and seaweed to tie it all together.”. So we began, we gathered the wood from the drain and whatever was lying on the shore, except for the smaller pieces that had no use. We were looking for more of plank like pieces. When we got enough wood we went to the water to grab some thick bunches of the seaweed, so that we could tie the wood all together. We quickly tied it all together and set sail the second it was finished. It was cold out and we didn't have much for warm clothes, so, unfortunately, we had to huddle. We, by luck, had chosen the right time to sail, we never hit any storms or harsh waves along the way. I'll skip the sailing part because i don't suppose you want to hear about the most...

Describe The Role Of Effective Communication In Children

...Did the other child take their toy? Did the other child pinch or push them? Do they need help verbalizing their wants? It isn’t always possible to know what happened, but when conflicts do arise I try to support both child through it without blame or punishment. I try to help the child empathize with their friend by asking them to look at their friend’s face, and see what they are feeling. I do not ask them to apologize or give hugs. I do ask them to ask their friend what they can do to help. G. was having a hard time pushing and hurting his friends. I noticed he sometimes needs help verbalizing his wants. One day he was pushing a friend in the face with the flat of his hand while they both pulled on the tunnel. G. kept saying, “Uhhhh!” G. let go of the tunnel and looked at Uncle Jon. Uncle Jon said, “Tell M. to let go.” G. said, “Let go.” M. didn’t let go. Uncle Jon said, “M., G. said ‘Let go’, please let go.” M. let go. It was interesting to observe this interaction because Uncle Jon didn’t address the issue of G. pushing M. in the face at all. That wasn’t the issue. The problem was G. didn’t know what to say to get his message across and he needed help. Uncle Jon saw this and supported him through it. I think the more we support children through conflicts, the more successful they will become at solving them on their own as they get older. What happened when you helped children play near one another? When I helped the children play near one another...

...English learner ENGLISH LEARNER SHADOWING PROJECT Part I Description Shadowing Project Rationale Throughout the shadowing projects, so much valuable information about English Language Learners and how they learn was gained. Although the student I chose is very bright, he does have disabilities that permits his growth academically therefore qualifying him for Special Education services. This student moved to the United States at the age of 12. He spoke no English at all and had accomplished to learn English on his own determination by speaking with his adoptive parents, playing video games, and watching television. After enrolling in school he was classified and enrolled as an English Language Learner. This student has excelled at tremendous speeds. Now that he is a junior in high school, he is at a high L3 and by test scores would be considered an advanced L4 or early L5. Due to his disability and being in Special Ed classes, he will never be able to advance past a L3 status in high school. As my student was observed one could not help to observe other English language Learners in the class. You will quickly realized that no matter what part of the world people come from weather it is from Mexico, Japan, Iraq Africa or Russia, all English Language Learners begin the learning process at the same starting point, the basics. This shadowing project took place in a Junior Resource English class at Frontier High School. The student that was observed was...

Most computer science texts will begin with a section on the history of computers and then with a flurry of definitions that are just “so many words” to the average student. My approach with Blue Pelican Java is to first give the student some experience upon which to hang the definitions that come later, and consequently, make them more meaningful. This book does have a history section in Appendix S and plenty of definitions later when the student is ready for them. If you will look at Lesson 1, you will see that we go right to work and write a program the very first day. The student will not understand several things about that first program, yet he can immediately make the computer do something useful. This work ethic is typical of the remainder of the book. Rest assured that full understanding...

Beletristica
