My SOLUTIONS to STOP and PREVENT bullying
1.) STOP bullying...
Parents should change the way they parent their children at home
If you see someone that is being bullied, tell an authority figure
Be confident
Ignore the bully and walk away
Do not engage in fights
When in an uncomfortable situation, have friends to back you up. Your strength is in numbers.
Find friends that share your interests or have also been bullied. A great way to make new friends is by sharing something in common with others. You can make new friends by getting involved in school and extracurricular activities.
2.)To PREVENT bullying from starting...
Start a friendship club
Compliment Week (Make people feel good about themselves)
Have a "Sit with Someone you Don't Know Day" and meet new people and make new friends
Take pledge to stop bullying
Hold school assemblies informing students of what bullying is
Counselors (Talk to counselors about what can be done to prevent people from bullying)
Donate to Anti-Bullying Organizations

3. What Schools Can Do To Stop Bullying:
Hold assemblies showing students how to deal with bullying. Also show the consequences.
Hire professional therapists to help students cope with bullying.
Have a "bully hotline" where students can share their problems with school councilors/therapists anonymously via their phone.
Always have a friendly/mature faculty that can resolve the issues regarding bullying within the school.
Teach children from their first days in school that bullying is NEVER the answer.
Be open to having confrontational meetings between bullies and their victims under the supervision of a school councilor/therapist.
Encourage students to form clubs and organizations on campus that will raise awareness of bullying.
Encourage students to share problems if they have any.
Do not be too stringent on students when it comes to bullying, but put enough priority on the subject in order to prevent it.
In case of a suicide or homicide resulting from bullying, the school should calm students down and use the dreadful incident as a reminder to students of the consequences of bullying.
4. What Parents Can Do To Stop Bullying:
Children are usually reluctant to speak with parents about bullying at school. That is why parents should start teaching children from an earlier age that actually sharing feelings with your parents helps a lot.
Parents should be loving when their children seem to have been or have been bullied.
Start a tradition at the dinner table by having everyone share information about their day.
If a parent finds out that their child has been bullied at school, the best thing to do is to teach the child how to cope with the problem by confronting or even ignoring the bully.
If coping with the bullying does not work for the child, it is maybe time for the parent to contact the school for more assistance with the consent of the child at first.
If the child still experiences problems and does not want the school to get involved, it is time to contact the school without the child's consent.
ONLY if things become tragic and escalate out of control, shall the parents transfer the child to another school.
5. What Kids Can Do To Stop Bullying:
Children should try to express themselves through speech and not violence with the help and guidance of adults.
If faced with bullying, the BEST thing one can do is "kill them with kindness".
Ignoring bullies also works sometimes.
Getting involved in school and extracurricular activities to make new friends who share your same interests. The more friends you have and the more often you spend time with them, the less often you will be bullied.
Becoming friends with someone who has been bullied by the same person.
Trying to be confident and standing for oneself at first is a great solution to the problem.
If the confidence is not helping, please seek help from an adult at school or at home.
Start a club or organization at school to raise awareness for bullying.

If there was a way to rehabilitate the prisoners why not take it? It would appear from the research that I’ve done that our prison system is geared more towards punishment than rehabilitation. Throughout this paper I will discuss the program I think we need to help reduce the overcrowding of prisons and the return of previous criminals. The Department of Justice data shows that around 730 in every 100, 000 people are incarcerated in the U.S. We currently have 2.2 million people behind bars equal to the size of Houston, Tx. (Natasha Lennard, 2012). My proposition is to adopt the Israeli rehabilitation program into our justice system. Israel is a small country of a population at about 8 million people. This small country has 32 prisons and only estimated 18, 000 people incarcerated. Their recidivism of repeat offender rates are amongst the lowest in the word (Matt Lebovic, 2012). At Hermon prison in Galilee still has the same security measures that you expect from a prison. The way that they treat the inmates and the way the inmates interact with each other is what makes this program so special. The problem is: how to waste less time waiting at the DMV? There are many possible solutions, but the one I choose to test is: by making all DMV services available online, with only a limited number of physical DMV locations and services available. Modern technology maximizes operations while reducing associated costs. (Hanington, 2012, p.43). The first step in order to test if this solution is appropriate is to look at cost viability. How cost efficient and practical will it be to conduct operations entirely online? He was the only employee of the shop then and would always get bombarded with customers around the time I was there for 30 or so minutes and at lunch time. I knew the basics of motorcycle, oil changes and detailing. I worked second shift at my full time job. So I went to him with an offer to work part time for a small fee if he would teach me everything he knew about motorcycles and do whatever was needed around the shop to help out. I would work at the shop for about four to five hours a week day and nine to one on Saturdays. The longer I worked there, the more customers we gain to all of us riding on Sundays and handing out cards or just word of mouth. After a while, the shop was getting more costumers and was getting too busy for the two of us working, but we kept up with the demand. Actually, the first signs of rabies, such as confusion, hallucinations, anxiety, and paralysis- could lay dormant in the body and not typically appear for a week up to a year.
