Diet does not necessarily relate to a weight loss diet, it also includes every meal, snack and drink a person consumes. A diet is also used to measure the variety of food a person eats to control their nutritional intake to help them lose weight. When a person is on a ‘diet’ they carefully observe what they eat and the volumes in which they eat to help cut out or lower the amount of food containing higher levels of fat to lose weight.
