Abstract

With technology changing so rapidly, it is important that companies stay abreast of these changes to remain competitive. Econet Wireless, with its global presence cannot afford to ignore this fact hence the need for an upgrade to its current systems. With the utilization of the older version of OBIEE, Econet is not able to process most of its requests thereby affecting overall business performance and productivity. It is with this realization that an upgrade be done on the current software to satisfy company needs. Econet has been using OBIEE 10G as its reporting tool since the company started operating. As the company grows and evolves, it is important that that current processes and systems be revised. This paper, discusses in depth, how the complete upgrade exercise will be conducted, resources required as well as follow-up actions to ensure satisfactory completion.
