...Bahh. Tom was so excited, that he called his brother, Mot, to compete with him. Tom was thinking, so he could find an idea for the show. Finally, Tom came up with the idea to build a teleporter. It took him 5 days to build it. Tom tested it out with a toy car. He first pressed a button that said go. Then out of nowhere, the teleporter began to rattle and shake and the car disappeared. To did not know where the car went, so there was only one way to find out. Tom called Mot to go in the teleporter with him to discover where it takes them. Mot came to go in the teleporter. When they pressed the go button, they screamed and found themselves in a very dark place. There where no people or animals it was just silent. Tom and Mot were scared, but they still had the courage to explore. They walked for about seven miles and they found a city called The Negative Zone. In the Negative Zone there were robots. Tom and Mot were so scared that they ran. When they ran the robots chased them and caught them. They put them and caught them. They put them in jail for no reason. Tom and Mot had to figure out a plan to get out of jail. They thought the robots liked the music so much they let Tom and Mot go. When Tom and Mot got home they promised to never build a teleporter again. What Would You do if You Were Invisible? When I woke up this morning to check myself in the mirror, I couldn’t see myself. All I could see were the things behind me. I thought I was a vampire, but I looked at my...

DottedMusic.com | Written by Ben Brown 3 10 truths about making it in music Foreward. What do you do when you seek for useful advice or inspiration in something you are passionate about and want to succeed in? One of the most obvious answers (if you are not a member of a suicide club) is probably this - you listen to people who have already "made it" in your craft. And in such a sleazy and poorly documented industry as music business, you better use this advice in full. This was what I thought while thinking on a concept for the first Dotted Music ebook few months back. On the blog, we've got lots of fantastic quotes from successful musicians, and pretty diverse I must say - from Anthrax guitarist to frontman of OK Go, there are very different sayings. So, the idea was born: to collect ten exceptional quotes and build a story around them. Why the story? Well, there is one problem about musicians, specifically when they speak... With the vague nature of most artistic people, their expressions are often pretty generic. To correct this misunderstanding, we took risks to expose the ten chosen quotes of musicians, who indeed have "made it" in the music industry, and create a free ebook worth of 50+ pages. Ben Brown, the Dotted Music writer and author of the inspiring work in front of you, created a truly fascinating...

...How to Coordinate Colors Three Parts:Knowing Your ColorsMatching ColorsUsing Fail-Safe Combinations Sometimes it can be difficult to know which colors you should wear with that green shirt or that blue skirt... but there are some definite rules that govern which colors look best with one another. Of course, once you know the rules you can break them, but it's good to get the basics down first. See step 1 to get starting coordinating your outfits by color. Part 1 of 3: Knowing Your Colors 1. ------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------- 1 ------------------------------------------------- Use the color wheel. All the color wheel does is tell you how best to combine colors. There are particular color combinations in the color wheel that are particularly pleasing to the eye, called color harmonies. The basic primary colors of red, yellow, and blue are used to create the secondary colors. Tertiary colors are created by mixing primary and secondary colors together.[1] * There are warm colors and cool colors. Warm colors tend to be orange, red, yellow, etc. and cool colors are greens, blues, and purples. Mixing warm colors with warm colors and cool colors with cool colors can be a good way for a color coordination novice to get comfortable with the colors. * White, black, and grey are neutral colors (and are very important for properly coordinating clothing). * When a color is tinted that means that...

...It was early morning, my eyes were squinted open as I looked at my bright phone screen. I was feeling excited and nervous at the fact of getting a horse. I got up out of my warm bed and got into the shower, my mind filled with thoughts about what is going to happen. I got ready to go, then we were on the way. I couldn’t wait to see what this exciting day would consist of. I rode with my sister to the the little town of Volga, Iowa. We had a heavy trailer attached to our back end. My sister’s horse, Buddy, was in the trailer because she was planning on trading him for another horse. It was a long, bumpy ride. Every stop sign you could feel the heavy trailer tug behind us. You could feel the car wobble as the horse would move. We finally arrived at the amazing Katy’s Corral. The first thing I saw was a beautiful brown horse. He was built nice, tall, and had a good personality. I knew I would love to own that horse from the start. You could smell the aroma of horse and their odor. I loved that smell. There were...

...figure it out. When someone dyes their hair a noticeably bright color, they get noticed. It's impossible not to see the green haired girl walking down the hall, or the blue haired boy in your gym class. It's immediately the way you're first described by your peers. This attracts attention to you, and makes you more known around your school. Everyone's talking about your new hair color, about how "crazy" and "cool" it is; or maybe how "gross" it is, depending on how it turned out. You could look like a way cool punk rocker, really trendy, or like your hair grew some major mold. It can depend on the dye or the way you dye it, or sometimes on pure luck. Sometimes people dye their hair because they need a change. They're sick of the brown-haired, boring old person they see in the mirror every day, and want to add a little spice to their look. It's really hard to be boring looking when your hair can be seen from a block away. It's a valid reason to make a change, and seems like a good idea to me. A more common reason that people dye their hair, but most wouldn't admit to, is to try to be "cool". If making friends or getting respect is your reason for bringing out the dye, I would seriously recommend reconsideration, and would look down on you if that was your only reason. Maybe for some people it...

...Mitsue is one of my friends from swim. I met her at the YMCA swim practice in August of 2015. I was 11, and she was 12. Our coach put us in the same lane and I got to know her from then. From the very first day, she was friendly and always talked to me. We’ve been friends ever since that day. Mitsue is as sweet as chocolate, as outgoing as a puppy begging for attention, as pretty as an angel, and as smart as a teacher. She has mid-length brown hair that is long and flowy. She typically has her hair straightened, but sometimes is curly on nice occasions. She is about 5’4 and is not growing anymore. She has brown eyes and brown hair. ...style and way to live. You can’t deny the youth to be themselves; this would result in a new generation of country-loving nutcase’s adults. Which I think we already had one generation to many of right? If you want your guardians to allow you to express in whatever way you want. Ask them, challenge them, torture them until you get an answer how their parents reacted when they found out their children listened to Pink Floyd, Jimmy Hendrix, The Doors, Led zeppelin and so on. Their parents would scream shout tear their hair out cry over how their small angel children could be seduced by this devil music. And still your parents as the tiny evil creatures they are sneak away listen to the music they thought fit to them best. There loving helpful careful parents thought they kids had become mentally deranged. When they wore “cool” outfits and listened to “cool” music. And now maybe you will be allowed to listen to the music you want to listen to ;) Just ask they are not that evil sly monsters you think they are (or at least most of them have a tiny bit of goodness far down into the abyss of their heart). ...everything ended up being copasetic. Aside from the fact they had me participating in extensive physical labor, the experience turned out to be quite memorable. Friday mornings I had hot dates with the Christian Caring Center. She fed me well, which was always a happy ending I just had to work for it. Wednesday nights, and weekends I got a chance to put on my handyman hat at the firehouse. Cool experience where I got a chance to establish there are a lot more positive people in the world than I could have ever imagined. In a way, it’s almost like they only present themselves to those who seek them. This project has given me a chance to reconnect with an intention I’ve set for myself a long time ago. Today I feel as if the path I’ve procrastinated taking for so long is no longer under construction. The first time I stepped foot into the Christian Caring Center I met a few ladies that took down my information and gave me “The word”. I actually felt a little bad for thinking they came off a bit excessive, until I heard a homeless (Muslim) lady chew them out for down talking on her and her beliefs. Anyway, after I was settled into their system I was sent downstairs to help in the kitchen. I stepped in ready to get my “Chef Boy Is B” on only to get tossed a dishrag. They had me scrubbing pots! To my surprise, the almost replaced chef and head honcho in the kitchen Ms. Elise was a family friend. So she pretty much had no problem bossing me around for a few hours, but she made it up with a healthy...

...You may mistake Rosa Parks for just your ordinary African American women but she is more than that. Just because she refused to move on a bus she had to be arrested just because she stood up for her rights. She stands up for her rights and doesn’t let anyone mistreat her just because of the color of her skin. When Rosa was born she was very small and had a large family. She was born on February 4th 1913 in Tuskegee, Alabama, and named after her maternal grandmother. Her large family consisted of her mother, Leona Edwards her father, James McCauley, and her younger brother Sylvester her two uncles Robert McCauley and George. Finally her grandparents Leona and Sylvester Edwards. Rosa was raised in her grandparents house for most of her childhood. She was very small and delicate for her age and...
