Children should not use phones at school The recent rise in cheap mobile phones technology has led the usability of phones by young kids to rise suddenly in the modern world. The phones can be obtained at a cheaper price that the parents can afford to purchase for their kids. Children carry these phones to school and use them for other purposes that are evil (Kamibeppu, 2007). Due to peer pressure and contribution of other factors such lack of maturity, the children often find themselves in a position to misbehave with phones when they are together. The phenomenon has attracted many scholars who have tried to explore the topic. The other reason the children should not use phones at schools is that they are too young to be exposed to the internet technology (Kamibeppu, 2007). Using the internet to explore by young children is unhealthy since they lack the necessary self-control to differentiate between what is good and what is bad. The internet also is very addictive and children can spend even a whole day browsing up to the limit that they cannot do their homework. The internet contains all kind of information and facilities that people can access for free. The internet has no control on what persons by their age should access. Due to peer pressure and lack of ability to reason the children can access wrong information in the form of videos, texts and images. Children can influence each other to watch pornographic materials from the web that is prominently bad for them. The addictive nature of internet should be controlled by limiting usage of phones at school by children to at least detach them from the internet. The other argument that phones should not be used in school is because they lead to lack of concentration by the interest children find when using the phones
