Introduction

This term paper entitled “Varied Classroom Situations and Learning Activities Reflective of the Teacher’s Core Values and Morality” is of importance to not just student teachers but to professional teachers as well. Student teachers not just licensed teachers, as they go along this term paper, would understand how varied classroom situations and learning activities would be successfully done through the imparted values and morals they have in them. This is about the moral dimensions of classroom interaction. As we will discuss, we have analyzed moral dimensions of what happens in classrooms. We have established thus far that classrooms are places of moral action and interaction, and that the moral dimension of classroom life is complex and multivalued.

Morality is something that guides people with the decisions and choices they will make and with this, teachers are guided thoroughly on how they will act accordingly when faced to the students. Typically, teachers act what is proper so that they will be a role model to students. Basically, with the core values acquired by people especially teachers and the morals they have in them penetrates how they handle classroom situations and learning activities. Morality is something that affects how people think and act because it is the basis and standards of the norms of the society. Teachers’ ethics also give emphasis on how teachers’ good image is maintained. It is an obligation of the teachers to conform to the morality and ethics of the profession not just as teachers but also as individuals. Thereupon, actions and thoughts of teachers are based on these two aspects, values and morality.
