Can it help a person in their daily life? Can it define a person with this simple analysis? The acronym for VARK stands for visual, aural, read/write, kinesthetic and it was created by Neil Fleming. Neil Fleming designed this questionnaire so the people can come to understand their learning styles (Fleming, 2001-2011). This is a way of testing to see an individual’s behavior in learning. It is a preference to a particular learning style and how one encounters study habits. Nelly took the sixteen questioner to see if her preference of learning strategies coincide with what was identified strategies by the VARK questionnaire. The personal learning profile score results were: Visual-7, Aural- 12, Read/Write-10, Kinesthetic -11. Vark Learning Style There are four different styles that VARK composed. In each it has its own meaning and technique in learning strategies. Depending on the individual, it forms a sense of communication to the brain to intake information to comprehend things better. According to Neil Flemings’s VARK Questionnaire four learning styles, visual learners prefer to see things as a whole, such as pictures, charts, graphs, books with diagrams, color highlighting or underlining in books in order to study.
