In the Lord of the Flies, there's lots of examples of how Piggy could be known as a Mockingbird. Ralph always criticised Piggy by saying you are “shorter than the fair boy and very fat.”’ (7) Piggy's made fun of and bullied for being fat he cannot control this, and it's not helpful for people to make fun of him. This is an example of a mockingbird since Piggy is being victimized for something he cannot change or help about himself.
