However, when looking closer at the Federalists' vision, while it is true that some rules promoted manufacturing which favored those who had money, it still worked to recognize the needs of the nation as a whole. Their emphasis on the importance of a united nation and stability created a growing environment for economic growth and social progress which would in turn benefit all members of society, not just those who are privileged. Building off of their strong central government, they were able to eliminate the potential threats of internal and regional conflicts, as well as interference from foreigners. In conclusion, while the Federalist Party may have faced criticism on certain policies, the advocacy for a strong federal government and sound economic policies had a great and positive influence on America's development.
