The Wolfgang Tillmans exhibit at the David Zwirner Gallery is made up of everything of portraiture, landscapes, documentaries, snapshots, and everything in between, combining two and three dimensional as well as moving imagery in his installation. The curation of the show appears sporadic and runs the risk of confusing the viewers and ultimately being misunderstood. The photographs vary in a vast spectrum of scale, some are quite large while others are delicately small, and the content of the image does not necessarily lend itself to the logic of the size choice. The confusion is augmented by the way the prints have been hung at random heights with unequal distances between them, some hanging way up high on the wall while others cluster together
