...of the choreographer’s direction. With the subject being so broad, there was an excellent array of styles, themes, and performance. The Jazz piece entitled “Take Five” was choreographed by Julianna Hane. The piece was inspired by the 1920s jazz clubs and combined the authentic style of the time with contemporary movement. thought the costumes were absolutely wonderful. The bright, bold colors that contrasted against eachother brought life to the piece. The dance started and ended the same, with the one guy walking onto the stage (and then exiting at the end). His quirk drew my attention and I was immediately drawn in. At the beginning I thought the movement was a tad slow-going. I was hoping to see a more “va-va-voom” like dance because of the inspiration behind the piece, the roaring 20s. I expected to have a more sultry draw as well. One part that really stood out to me was the little solo section. I thought the concept of the group dancing in the circle and taking turns to individually have the spotlight was great. They each demonstrated different skills and brought something new to the piece. It reminded me of a "dance off" in a way. I especially loved how all at once they came back together with the same movement. Throughout the piece there were lots of grand hand-gestures, exaggerated movements, and long-legged kicks. It was very clear it was a jazz piece based on these movements, and off course the music. One piece that...

...International Journal of Digital Evidence Fall 2007, Volume 6, Issue 2 Computer Forensic Analysis in a Virtual Environment Derek Bem Ewa Huebner University of Western Sydney, Australia Abstract In this paper we discuss the potential role of virtual environments in the analysis phase of computer forensics investigations. General concepts of virtual environments and software tools are presented and discussed. Further we identify the limitations of virtual environments leading to the conclusion that this method can not be considered to be a replacement for conventional techniques of computer evidence collection and analysis. We propose a new approach where two environments, conventional and virtual, are used independently. Further we demonstrate that this approach can considerably shorten the time of the computer forensics investigation analysis phase and it also allows for better utilisation of less qualified personnel. Keywords: Computer Forensics, Virtual Machine, computer evidence. Introduction In this paper we examine the application of the VMWare (VMWare, 2007) virtual environment in the analysis phase of a computer forensics investigation. We show that the environment created by VMWare differs considerably from the original computer system, and because of that VMWare by itself is very unlikely to produce court admissible evidence. We propose a new approach when two environments, conventional and virtual, are used concurrently and independently. After the images...

Scanning the Marketing Environment © The McGraw−Hill Companies, 2005 CHAPTER 3 SCANNING THE MARKETING ENVIRONMENT IT’S SHOW TIME! Don’t blink, because the world of entertainment is changing faster than anyone imagined possible. Online music, high-definition televisions, digital photography, computer-based media centers, and software for making movies are just some of the many products new to the entertainment industry. The revolution began with the combination of Apple’s iPod music player, which can store 10,000 songs in a device smaller than a deck of cards, and its iTunes Music Store, which sells more than 10,000,000 songs each month for just $.99 each. Other new forms of digital entertainment products include digital video recorders (DVRs), which record TV shows on hard drives instead of tape, and home entertainment “hubs,” which utilize wireless networks to link digital devices from around the home. Some experts even predict that there will probably be a version of iPod and iTunes for movies in the near future. Suddenly the music, television, photography, movie, and computer industries are converging. Musicians, recording companies, television networks, camera companies, movie studios...
